The Rifts are rips in the veil that separate Hell, Heaven and Earth. Um, yeah, more on stuff later...

Races
Angels: Two winged Angels of either air, water or earth. They have no gems.
Seraphs: Four winged, elite Angels of light charged with guarding the Rifts. Their gem and wings are pure white.
Nephalim: Fallen angels.

Imp: These lesser demons are small pesky creatures with tiny horns, clawed hands and arrow-tipped tails.
Succubus/Incubus: Lesser demons of lust and fornication Succubus and Icubus are extremely beautiful, with bat-like wings, long tails ending in an arrow-like tip and horns.
Devil: These greater demons are monstrous beings with large bat-like wings, arrow-tipped tails, hooved feet, bull like horns and clawed fingers.

Teifling: Half human, half demon, usually born of a Succubus or Incubus. They have long, thin tails and small horns.
Human: 'Nuff said

Here, some info I randomly came up with.

Angels
Angels are heavenly beings that are recruited to protect the earth from harm, but cannot directly help others. They cannot lie. They can be loosely associated with an element, but have limited control. This power is passed down from the seraphim. They have 1 pair of wings. If they sin or fall in love, they become a nephilim.

Seraphs (seraphim plur)
Seraphim are a higher rank than angels and have the ability to leave to the heavens and beyond whenever they wish. Instead of a golden halo, they posses a gem floating above their heads, vaguely singalong what element and weapon they could control. They also have 2 pairs of wings. If they sin or fall in love, they are demoted to nephilim.

Nephilim (no singular xD)
These are what most call 'fallen angels'. due to the fact they have disobeyed the rules of heaven. They are lower than demons and have similar powers to them, but still posses their elemental abilities. They can also be a result of angel/seraph children
(nephilim is the correct spelloing btw xD)

Centaurs
They are mythical equine men. Yeah, guy with horse legs.

I (personally) think Seraphs should turn into some sort of demon but normal Angels are demoted to nephilim

well in most lore seraphs are higher than angels and nephilims are usually fallen seraphim... xD
Or they could just both be demoted to nephilim lol

Both turning to nephilim sounds great with me.

If you want. Vamps and werewolves too? Also nephilim should not be "demons" rather they are not on any side unless they choose to be.

Well, i guess you're right. xD In most books, they're just kind of loners, but also usually have a more deceiving personality. And also they normally can't go to the 'heavens' and stuff... A la derp...

Yeah, like werewolves, vampires, chimeras, golems... Manticores, mermaids, satyrs.... so many i could name xD
