I used to play zOMG but they took that off the site so I don't go on there anymore.

I'm Cyanidae on there too! Haven't logged in in ages though.

I was super active back in 2009-2012, then tried coming back last year, but UGH that inflation was beyond tolerable. Plus it seemed like every person that ordered art from me went AWOL and i never got paid. It just wasn't the same as my first times on there

Did you hear though? Tektek couldn't keep running, it got shut down.

Funny enough, my two oldest online friends ended up following me here, so that's really nice n_n i miss all my other buddies though, i lost touch...

They ruined it! The economy went nuts! No amount of goldsinks will fix the mess they've made for themselves...

I miss it dearly.

Oh no Snow! Please not another game @-@ between Flight Rising, Recolor.me, and Sylestia, I can't handle another game right now!

I am xLipMaex on there due to a hacking. I quit after they dumped zOMG, too... It was the only reason I played. The inflation would have been tollerable if there was still a way to farm coins like that. :/ I had all the rings except 1. xD

Heheh, i had all the rings! and i could totally lead an End crew through. if they'd listen...even just a few quick Papa Saw runs would remedy anything...

yeah, apparently he made recolor.me, and hard coded the ads for it into tektek, so that even with adblock you could still see and click the ads, unlike the Solia and Ernya ones, which were part of ad packages. that apparently took traffic from Gaia, which pissed them off, and they were like TAKE IT[edit: the ads, recolor.me, or tektek] DOWN OR WE TAKE LEGAL ACTION. so he was like welp bye i have my own site now.

Like Gaia isn't chasing off everyone on their own...which isn't TOTALLY their fault, i mean they need money to run the site, everyone's leaving because all the items are Cash based and all the gold generators were further killing the economy, and in order to keep the site running they rely on the cash paying members, which totally alienate the gold members, which sucks sooo much. the artists don't even know what to charge anymore, it was a nightmare.

though, i will say Ernya is a pretty good alternative. haven't logged in in ages, but their avatar builder was right there on the site, and it was a lot like Sylestia's in the sense that you could color anything(in preset colors, but there's a huge palette), and try on anything. Plus, they had lots of events like on here. Solia was okay, it was SO hard to earn gold there though. TinierMe was great, but that shut down and there's only the purely japanese version up now(which has no skin color options T_T) but at least someone set up dreamself.me back in the day, and that still runs and still adds items from the japanese version!

Either way, Sylestia has what they all don't, it's like Neopets and Gaia and Pokemon all pulled into one, but somehow BETTER, and the community is fabulous, and there's plenty of gold sinks and people trading diamonds for gold, etc etc. So i'm sticking here!

Lol yes. It's funny though, all the new players think my avi is like Antique dream avi material. It's still fun to walk up in Rally like that. lol
