Some of you know about the cyst in my right wrist(my dominate hand) has in the last couple of months been causing me some big problems. Including but not limited to: Pain(threw out my hand, wrist, and up to my elbow), numbness, tingling, limited use, and limited range of movement. Along with making gripping things(like twist caps on bottles)hard, opening containers that requior good grip nearly impossible, holding/carring things over a weight of like 2 pounds hurts(and I risk dropping it), and caring for my daughter along with cooking/eating has been effected. So has my career(asspiring writer and artist, actually in the process of writing my graphic novel[think Sin City] near impossible for the time being. I can only use my hand/wrist for like 4 MAYBE 5 hours per day at this point which when you are a parent and the primary errand runner it makes things that already are challenging(for other unrelated reasons) even harder.

Anyhow, I'm making this thread because you, my friends wished to be kept informed to the details of this process. The before(i.e. the date/time/surgeons name), and the results(ie. how did it go, how long will I be in recovery, physical therapy schedual[if I have that], and all that info). There will be NO during the process info avalible from me, as I have opted to be placed under(ie. knocked out) during rthe procedure due to my PTSD potentially triggered if I was to remain awake. I will also NOT posting any pictures(at least of during the surgery), because they would be graphic and I do not want to make myself or anyone else sick from seeing them. There for IF you as an individual would like healing progression pictures I will glady email them to you, or you can view them on my facebook. The only pics I'd like posted here though should be happy/positive/cheery pictures with cute animals or things of that nature.

IF you wish to give encouragement/support gifts of any kind here(OR if you wish to reach out to me in real life), please send me a PM so you can get the pertinate info. I could really use all the support I can get right now, because honestly I am scared out of my mind. My PTSD/Panic Disorder are going full steam ahead in to the land of negitivity and fighing against them is a daily battle, any you guys support, and love has been very valuable to me. I appreceat everything you have done for me over the time I have been here and have known you all. All I ask is that you continue to be here for me, while I have this going on and be supporting and help in any way you can.

Notice/Disclaimer: IF I have pinged you, and you are not interested in keeping tabs please tell me.
Alternitivly IF you or you know of some one that would like to be informed about what is going on wish to be Pinged for updates please tell me.

GIFTS & WELL WISHES

This is so I can track any gifts and exact words/pictures and the like that are possitive and supportive, just cause having them all collected in one post will help me out alot! Especally during a panic attack.

*hugs back*
I'm terrified, but its this or never have optimal use of my hand/wrist ever again. I know I have joint issues already...loosing the ability to use my right hand would mean I could never become a published writer/graphic novelist/artist... I would lose my last way of making an income, which would also mean I couldnt ever have any other kids, along with other things.... I will not let this cyst mess up my life any more...

Im so sorry, Ldd. I hope you get better. I didn't know that you wrote or anything! Or maybe I did and I'm just not very bright...that is likely it. I'm not too sharp regarding medical issues, so of course I can't understand how it must be, but I can sympathize.

Wishing you wellness and love, because you guys are my family and it's sad to see you guys in rough times <3

Taking a while to write this because I feel like, well, poop.

Thanks for the support Red.

Yeah, working from home(ie selling my art/crafts, writing and drawing so I can become a published graphic novelist) are my only options because I'm disabled. Local employers cant risk hiring some like me with my ballance/joint/mobility issues. Couple that with my chronic pain, chronic migrains, the blindness of my left eye thats only correctable with glasses, and my PTSD/Panic Disorder...working in a public setting with loads of people really isnt a good idea. So i opted to be a stay at home mom and make my career from home.

If i lose the use of my had even that will go away.

I have kinda kept quiet about my real life goals in the last year or so due to having to push back my own personal goal/dead line dates due to medical reasons, so its perfectly reasonable that you wouldn't know.

*gentle hugs*
