I just want to point out, that though this is not really a big issue, and some people may like it, the female version of "Woodsman's outfit" Is quite revealing. A bit too much for me.

Here it is on me:

See? Now look at the male version...

VERY DIFFERENT...!!!

I mean, its fine with the matching hood that covers that up on the female,
but has anyone else noticed this?
Comments?? Opinions?

Quite a few of the female outfits show some cleavage. It's mostly the older ones, though, I think... Or maybe I just don't use the newer outfits as often. But, ladies have chests, fact of life. Personally I love that there are some outfits that are a bit more revealing. The Deadly Assassin's Outfit is one of the outfits I want the most, honestly.

I do think that the female and male styles could match a little more.

I think that if it's a problem, just don't get/wear the item.

I agree Fiere,it is quite showy and that's why I have only worn it twice, once without the hood but just for like a day.And sure on one hand that isn't the only outfit that show cleavage, but on the other hand I mean I just think they should match a bit more. I mean it would be different if like males chest was all out of stuff, but yeah that just me.

Oh, but I like it a bit risque.

In all seriousness, though, avatar items are kind of final in that it would cause Krin to have to commission an artist to make a new one. And just because it might not be to your taste doesn't mean it's not to someone else's. In fact, it might just be exactly what another person envisioned for their character. If you don't like it, you sure do have plenty of other options, and if you want it to be more like the "male's"... well, you can switch freely between the bases, and no one ever said that they were specifically "male" and "female". One is definitely more feminine, but I feel the other is just kind of... neutral. The "male" Woodsman's Outfit shows a little belly anyway, so it's good for guys and girls, and anything in between or outside of that binary. :3

Agreeing with Junco here. If you really want to look like the male version of an outfit, just switch bases. The request for male and female outfits to look 'more alike' is kind of silly, tbh. There are plenty of outfits woman wear in real life that just are not considered 'mainstream' for men to wear. If your request was followed, female outfits would lose a great deal of their ability to have any variation or personal flair. Then we might as well just have a male base instead of having two if you're not going to have a point to having both.

Every outfit isn't going to be to each person's ideals, and some of the low cut outfits do get plenty of wear useage so i'm sure there are people who very much disagree with your opinion on them. I don't like the big bulky armor outfits, either, but I don't expect them to be changed just because I don't like them. I simply wear something else, and let the people who enjoy the bulky armor have their own personal style for their avatars.

At the very least it does go the other way sometimes

But yeah, the imbalance in fully covered dudes and hella cleavage lady outfits is something you'll see a moderate amount of in really old items. People made some comments about it and from what I've seen the artists have been more conscious of making the items more equally sexy regardless of the avatar pose. So there are more examples of revealing female outfits than males, but it's much more balanced in newer sets.

Sylestia is pg13 I think. I don't really see a problem with that outfit. I don't find it revealing in a sexual way. ^.^'' I remember in the past there was a request from the users for skimpy armor. xD haha, Honestly, I kind of like options in general. :p Up for anything.

The only item that comes to mind for this topic is the ninja outfit.

We try to offer a very wide range of avatar outfits for both bases - a little bit of something for everyone's tastes. We don't expect any single person to enjoy each and every outfit. So there will almost always be some outfits that don't match your tastes regardless of what your tastes are.

And yes, Sylestia is a PG-13 site, so all of our content will always fit that rating - one way or the other.
