Alright, I was breeding then all of a sudden some of my females appeared as males in the Breeding ground, it happened with a couple of my males too. I tried refreshing, could you check out the problem?

Hi I don't know about the original poster, and sorry to bring up an old thread, but one of my generated pets was switched genders.

I know for a fact this pet was male because I've breed it before countless times(meaning it couldn't have been a philter) I won the essences from some sort of contest almost 2 years ago and made a breeding pair.
I have a link to one of his offspring as proof.

It actually was still considered a male... however, I'm guessing that during the corruption issues a few months back, some genders were corrupted and in this case, it was written as "mal e". Since "mal e" does not equal "male", the image defaults to the female base.

I corrected it in the database and will look for other messed up pets.
