Unfortunately the issue scrambled a lot of data in the pets table due to the table having crashed. I've found pets marked as "mal" instead of "male", "femal" instead of "female", maturity values into the millions when the max is 648, etc. So I wouldn't put it out of reach that a pet's owner got switched as well.

But there's no evidence of a notification of sale, it's only in your Stable, not the other player's, and as of Weds at 4pm it was still owned by you.
