Meet Gerbina Growlight, Flower Peddler


She sells flowers for a living and with Valentine's Day coming up she has to collect lots and lots of flowers and she needs your help to gather them. Bring her a dozen roses of the same color and she will reward your efforts:

1 Dozen Black Roses = Random Week of Love Themed egg
1 Dozen White Roses = 6 Valentines
1 Dozen Pink Roses = Choice of 1 Wheel Ticket or 1 Avatar Item box (retired)
1 Dozen Red Roses = Your choice of 1 fragment of Zephyr's Charm

Basically, this is an idea for something else to do during the Week of Love Fest. The colored roses would pop up as you walk around the map (like with the apples in the Sweet Blossom Orchard) with Black Roses and White Roses being the most common and the Pink and Red Roses being more difficult to find. The Roses could also be tradeable to promote community involvement as well. :)

Since the art for these roses already exists as AV items and similar code to what is needed has been written for this, it shouldn't be too difficult to implement. As to where to put Ms. Growlight, she may as well take up residence in the secret area, since it no longer seems to have a purpose.

This is of course assuming that other people think this is a good idea. ^^

Ooh, I like this idea! The only tweak I would make would be for the number of red roses needed for the piece of the charm to be double the amount needed for other items, since it is supposed to be so rare, even with the lower spawn rate for red roses. But I love the idea of having another way to get tickets for the wheel and avatar boxes!

Gives more to do than run around for pets and bandits. Her variety of items suits most parts of the fest.

Sounds cool... except i have only gotten one rose that I know of in the whole fest so far, so like these Zephyr charms, Id probably be ship out of luck with these too.

There's a fine line between making something rare enough to be valuable and cool, and so rare its just frustrating hoping to find one and never getting any. Like the wheel pets... I think they are TOO rare, and too hard to get. I would hate for this to end up being like that. Its already frustrating enough trying to get a charm to drop, IMHO.

The roses haven't been implemented yet :O so you can't find them at all. The held items and the items you find in the zone would be different if this were made into an actual thing.

I could have sworn I saw one pop up.. maybe not. I am basically only getting the valentines to drop, nothing much else, so anything different usually catches my eye. Wonder what it was? At 3:00 in the morning i wasn't exactly wide awake, lol...

I really like this idea but maybe instead of 'Choice' of charm piece have it random? And I agree with needing more roses for it, perhaps 1 dozen of each color to keep the pieces rare? We could use an enlarged version of the Single Rose held items so new art won't be needed.

And if it requires a dozen of each rose you can split the item box and wheel ticket options to their own colors instead of a choice as well
