I have a hard time color-coordinating with avi items, so I thought maybe it would be easier to just click the color with a color picker-upper-thing and get the hex? It's just a thought :3

I think this is a lovely idea, if it's possible to do. :)

But until then, if you use Google Chrome, I use this eyedropper browser extension. It's free and you can pick up colors from anything on any webpage. I use it a lot when designing avatars.
Here are some for Firefox users, though I haven't tried any of them.

Not sure if that's even possible.. but could see how it'd be useful if it was. If I'm looking for a matching color I usually just open it in Photoshop/Gimp to use the color picker tool.

Honestly not possible and exceeds the coding limitations of what a website can do. Use that browser extension or a free art program, but since Krin cannot code for your browser, he really cannot code something to grab hex data off your screen like that. The site coding has no way of outward interaction with the display in that format.

I don't know if it's feasible for Sylestia itself, but it is possible now in html5:

Sorry. I don't fully understand the suggestion. What would you be using the eye dropper on? The avatar image itself? Or something offsite? Or the colorpicker itself?

I'm pretty aware how vague that was, sorry :p The 'eyedropper' would be used to get the color hex from things like avatar items on-site. Like something I had trouble on was the Hellhounds that I could never get a slightly corresponding color in things like; top 1, top 2, etc. I get that you can use extensions on computers and laptops that do that same thing, but if you're one of the users on here that commonly use their tablets, iPads or phones you mainly don't have that option. I think that having it built into the wardrobe and the site in itself would be far more practical. Am I making sense? :[

It's a lot of a suggestion and less of a plausible thing, and I understand that :3
