I'm unable to add tasks from the task board in Ethernia... I have plenty of space to add them, but when I click on them, nothing happens - as if the links were dead. (The tasks were: wanted necromancer, and desctructive locals in the orchard)

Try a hard refresh (shift + F5) or clearing your cache.

I did both of your suggestions, and it's still not working. :( I've also tried to abandon the tasks already in my task log, hoping it would help, and I discovered that I cannot abandon those tasks - they're "stuck" there.... Help?

Which browser are you using? Could any browser addons or parental controls be tampering with the Site?

I use the latest Firefox - which I've been using since day 1 on this site, and no updates have happened recently... No add-ons or parental control either... It all worked just fine until the festival; I did no tasks for the duration of the fest, and started doing them again a couple of days ago. When I finished some tasks I could gather the reward, but I can't abandon or add any. :(

Oh! I just got these showing up at the top of the screen when I clicked on the tasks in the task board:

Thank you for reporting that, but unfortunately that's an unrelated error. I fixed it though, so you can try to see if it made a difference - but it shouldn't have.

I'll try to mess with Firefox and see if I can reproduce the error.

I've tried it using Windows Explorer and I get the same problem, by the way. Maybe tonight's update will be enough to fix things? *cross fingers*

Just curious, what device are you using?

Also, can you take a screenshot of what the task board looks like for me.
