There once was a kingdom which held many creatures. They lived in harmony for ages. The ones who ruled the kingdom were the catfolk, as they were the first to have evolved into what they became. The other creatures of the night and day expanded and evolved from them, and soon, the creatures spread out across the land, their families forever evolving and growing. However, one day, a lone human gathered an army and wiped out the Kingdom of Cats. From that day on, he had his kinsmen hunt down all catfolk. When a human boy came of age 15, he was sanctioned to join the ever growing army.

The catfolk were especially skilled in disguise, as they were all able to shift from humanoid form to feline form. They were creatures of magic, after all, and had always been able to transform. however, in recent years, the youngest of the clans have been unable to switch form from either a feline, a human, or a hybrid of the two shapes. After all, the catfolk used to use their ancient scrolls to teach the young ones of the old ways. All ancient scrolls, save for one, was stolen by the king and locked away in an unknown place.

The mission of the catfolk and some other creatures, including some of the thousand-year elders, known by humans as the Elves, Dragons, Unicorns, Pegasi, or White Stags, have made it their mission to confront and defeat the evil king who wishes all creatures harm.

Neutral creatures, such as Vampires (vampire bats), Werewolves, and most woodland-dwellers (such as Faeries) and mountain-dwellers (such as Dwarves), have attempted to avoid conflicts altogether.

And the side of evil, which includes most humans and an assortment of all the different creatures previously mentioned, wish to defend the kingdom they so rightfully have earned by defeating the previous reign of rulers.

So that just leaves you. Who are you? What are you? And where do your loyalties lie?

Carosha sniffed the air. A deer, male. Young, only just grown into his antlers. Good; that way, he would be less likely to have a family. Gently breathing, she stepped lightly through the woods. It had been three days of nothing but hunting. her customers hated it when the meat wasn't fresh, so she was relatively close to the town. Although, the hunt seems to have taken her out quite a ways at this point. The deer, though humans seem to ignore the intelligence of these magnificent beasts, knew very well when hunting season was. They always went farther and farther as hunting season came to pass. This particular deer she had been tracking since the day before. And now, with luck, she had realized she was within a half mile of it. Speeding up her pace, her companion kept silent, but grabbed a more firm grip on her back. Her little baby dragon friend, Veroxa, knew that when Carosha's conversation became this focused, it was better to be silent. Eventually, Carosha finally caught up to the deer. She was downwind, so she could smell it's scent filling her nostrils, working against her salivary glands. Swallowing silently, Carosha squatted low. The buck had stopped to take a long drink from a slow-paced stream which crossed his path. Slowly pacing forward, she was able to sneak within a meeter of him before she was detected.

As soon as she was, she leaped out and firmly chomped down on the neck of her victim. He fought valiantly, but her strength in this form was no match for his. It didn't take long for him to go down. it was a clean kill.

Amethyst was lying down in the leader's cave of the Tribe of Auroral Eclipse (Is that an ok name?) all the caves connected into one main cave, the cave where the food was stored and the cave where the dragons mostly roamed and gossiped. The other caves were basically just bedrooms and a room where the Bone-carver dragon carved bones stripped of meat. (Is it ok if I do a map? And can I make up all the ranks of the tribe?)

Harla sat in the back of her shop sipping her raspberry tea, her dark eyes looking over the room. "Wwhat a mess!' She mutters quietly as she sets her tea down and stands up adjusting her kimono she starts going about the room lifting up swords, looking them over, then placing them back into the right cases, then, she comes to a sword that shouldn't be out in the first place, she picks it up. It's a beautiful silver blade with a golden hilt carved with runes and symbols even she cannot began to understand, the bottom of the hilt is a pure shining ruby, Harla places the sword inside of its leather case and places it back on the shelf sighing with a sudden sadness that always surfaces when she touches the sword. She goes back over to her tea and sits again, to think things over.

Kana sat in front of five children under an oak tree, telling them myths and legends. She carved animals as she talked. The five children listened intently to her stories, entranced and mystified. Kana had already carved two animals. A raven for the catgirl with brown hair and black ears, and a bear for a catboy with blond hair and blue eyes. She was carving a wolf for the girl with silver ears. She walked to the nearby stream and washed her carving knife as she continued her story. She sat back under the oak tree, and finished the carving of the wolf. Kana handed it to the girl. The girl solemnly took the carving, and thanked Kana. She smiled at the girl and began another story. Picking up a piece of oak wood, she carved a stag for one of the two little boys without a carving.
