I assumed it was just them having been removed, but everyone else I've asked have still had them showing up. For the past five times I've tried the egghunt, there have been no egg nests or chests anywhere to be found.
I don't think even really bad luck with spawns could give THAT many blanks in a row. Do they share spawn timers with chests outside or something?

I took a look at the database and they are there to me.

Did you exit the zone at any time?

I never left the egg hunt zone, any of the times.

I'm not sure. When I checked the DB, there was at least one up. If you want to give me specific coordinates of ones you think are broken I can see further.

I don't have the exact coordinates, but there was nothing in any of the five spawn points in the egg hunt the past five times I've attempted it, over the past two days. I can try it again once it cools down and get the coordinates of them if it would help.

Hmm... unless the egghunt area counts as part of the main zone? Would exiting the festival area to get back to the beginning to start the egg hunt do something to kill the spawns inside it?

If you press the "Exit Zone" button, it will reset your spawns.

Reset... what does that mean, then? I would normally expect that to mean they'd reappear if they weren't already there, but as that doesn't seem to have been played out...
And does that mean that the festival zone and egg hunt area are in fact shared? Or do you mean that if I exit any zone they will all be 'reset'?

The festival zone is the zone. The egg hunt is inside the zone. So yes, they are the same.

When you exit the zone, it will reset all of your spawn points for that zone to their max respawn time. This is to keep players from killing/looting something, exiting, and coming right back to it.

So if the respawn timer on something is 2 hours and you "Exit Zone", it will not spawn until 2 hours from when you exit. If you exit again before it respawns, it will again reset the timer.

Each zone is separate, so if you exit, say Sweet Blossom Orchard, it will not affect any other zone.
