What happens to a released sylesti?

It just goes off into the world to explore on it's own.
You can still view it's profile (so it isn't considered dead) but can no longer breed with it, feed it, or use it for anything at all.
Once a sylesti is released, it can never be caught again.

they are currently making a feature that will probably be out within the next year (not sure of exact time frame) that will allow you to get your released sylesti back at a cost.

I had an idea for that, but it was half rejected, but considered, but unlikely, but yes, you can't recapture it feed it, breed, it, or anything.
