you have quite a good list. Try Soul Eater, and maybe Squid Girl (Animes)

Watch BBC Merlin. :D Such an under-appreciated BBC show, considering how fantastic it is.

For live action tv shows, I'd rec Farscape. Its science fiction and it ran for four seasons and a mini-movie. I believe its all on hulu for free.

As for anime, how about Fafner in the Azure? It has a TV series and two movies. The order for the series is Original TV Series -> Right of Left (movie) -> Heaven and Earth (movie). All of Fafner is on hulu for free subbed or dubbed.
If you decide to check out Fafner but want to wait a while, there's also a new season called Exodus coming out but I believe it's been delayed till next year. Not quite sure on that.

I would try to find The Tomorrow People (the one that started in 1994). I tried an episode of the remake and couldn't get through it. But I remember watching the original series and thought it was wicked awesome.
