so ive noticed that quite a lot of my equipment deals magical damage; but so far, all the 'weapons' that my pets have only deals physical damage.

so im wondering what sort of 'weapons' deals magical damage? so i can put all those magical relics to good use aha.
and where can i find/buy them?

I believe every level that ends in 0 or 5 your pet gets a profiency, these can be used on the profiency tree, where your pet gets elemental attacks, I believe that is magical damage

so equipment is for magical or physical damage. easy enough.

If you play with putting different pieces of armor on a pet, you can watch the changes made as far as how much damage a pet can deal in physical vs magical.

When you first start playing, your pet only does physical damage, but for every 5 levels you gain, yur pet gets 1 proficiency point.

Once your pet hits level 25, it will have 5 proficiency points.

Do this:

In another window, open up your pet's profile page.
Click the blue button that says proficiencies
You will see 6 icons, the first being a whirlwind the last two are hearts.
The whirlwind should already be selected but if it is not, click it.
There should be a green box around the whirlwind picture.
Directly below the whirlwind, you will see 3 lines like slashes.
Hover your mouse there.
It should say SLASH, then it should say deals Physical damage

Alright, now click on the yellow heart.
Hover your mouse on the picture of the lightning bolt that is directly under the whirlpool.
It should say BEAM deals Magical damage

That's what the armor is for. When your pet reaches lv 25, so long as you use all proficiency points under the same top icon (Again, the whirlwind, flame, hearts)

Your pet will gain a new attack.

That attack will only deal physical or magical damage, so if your pet only deals physical, you want phsical armor and vis versa for magical.
