The new and improved Festival Leaderboard Contests are finally here! For those unaware, they have gone through a major overhaul from how they have operated for many years now.



Major Changes:
- The entire interface and back-end code for the Festival Leaderboard Contests Page has been completely rebuilt and modernized.

- There are now separate Battling Contests based on Zone Difficulty. Tier 5 is now its own Contest and is separate from the Tier 1 - 4 Contest.

- Every Top 10 Placement in every Contest now awards a Themed Pet for that Contest's Species (Used to be just Top 5).

- 1st Place in every Contest now awards a 4-Visible (was 3-Visible), 2nd and 3rd Place now awards a 3-Visible (was 2-Visible).

- Total Placements has been reduced to 10 (was 15).

- Total Rounds has been reduced to 2 (was 3).

- All Contests and Rounds are now viewable whether the Contest has yet to begin, is active, or has ended.

- Players can now see more information regarding their current standings on each Contest, including their Placement even if they are not in the Top 10.


Leaderboard Contests

Throughout the duration of the Festival, there will be a total of 154 Contests running! There are 4 different Contests: Battling (Tier 1 - 4), Battling (Tier 5), Pets Nurtured, and Pets Released. The 1st Place winner of each Contest will receive a 4-Visible Themed Pet of that Contest's Species. The 2nd and 3rd Place finishers of each Contest will receive a 3-Visible Themed Pet of that Contest's Species. The 4th through 10th Place finished of each Contest will receive a 2-Visible Themed Pet of that Contest's Species. All Top 10 Placement winners will receive [Leaderboard Reward Pouch (Spring)], which can contain some of the Festival's best items!

Battling Contest (Tier 1 - 4): Defeat Enemies within the Festival Exploration Zone, Astryl's Meadow. Earn 1 Point per Enemy Defeated per Party Pet of this Species. Zone Difficulty must be between Tiers 1 through 4.

Battling Contest (Tier 5): Defeat Enemies within the Festival Exploration Zone, Astryl's Meadow. Earn 1 Point per Enemy Defeated per Party Pet of this Species. Zone Difficulty must be Tier 5.

Pets Nurtured: Nurture Pets from the Nurturing Grounds or directly on Pet Profile pages. Earn 1 Point per Pet that you successfully Nurture of this Species.

Pets Released: Manually Release Pets from your Hatchery or directly on Pet Profile pages. Earn 1 Point per Pet that you Manually Release of this Species. Pets must have been created prior to the start of the Festival.

Lastly, all Players can earn [Contest Reward Pouch (Spring)] by earning so many Points per Contest. There is no limit to the amount of pouches a Player can earn. So the more that you participate, the more that you'll receive! Reward pouches can contain Premium Seed Pouches, Regular Seed Pouches, Premium Fertilizer Bags, Regular Fertilizer Bags, Large Basket of Enrichments, Small Basket of Enrichments, Garden Additives, or Gold.

out of mild curiosity since i don't think i read it in there anywhere - is someone able to place on both the tier 1-4 battle board AND tier 5 battle board? i think it would be a bit strange if yes but that's just me :P

Pouches dont seem to be going out. I know you need to run the script for the stuff before now i get that but I just released 11 more draes to get my number to the next pouch and nothing has arrived

I am still working on the participation prizes. Trying to get that done tonight before the other contests start.

Either way though, once they do, you'll receive everything you've earned. It will be retroactive.

At this point in time, yes, you can place on both.

There's not really a good way to separate it at this point in time so I'm just gonna leave it like this for now and see how it goes. Things very well may be adjusted for next Festival is needed.

Mass releasing from hatchery isn't counting. Just released some venes and number did not change

Yea, at the moment, your information at the bottom for each Contest is also only updating once every 5 Minutes.

I would like to make it up to date, but it will require a more in-depth coding solution than how it is atm. I will try to get to it as soon as possible.

I think i might have broken board pouches. I have released 500 pets in the last hour or so. I have received 5 pouches. the points are on boards but no progression pouches. Had put aside 100 of each species so released 88 Morkko, 98 Ny'vene, 98 Nytekrie, 100 Puffadore and 100 Qitari. I should have gotten 20 pouches but like i said got only 5. Has been 8 mins since the last pet i released and 30 mins since my last pouch drop so im assuming i broke it xD Im heading off now
