Alright, help a girl out! I have several syletia now that either carry or express the restricted trait I desire. How do I take this off a bred non-themed pet and put it on a themed pet? Speak to me like I am in kindergarten.

As far as I'm aware, there is no way to take a trait off a bred or non-themed pet and put it on another pet. A Trait Extractor can only be used to extract a visible Restricted Wild Trait from an Exclusive or Tamed pet.

Alas, you can't.
The *only way to get res traits on themes is to use a Restricted Trait Disruptor/RTD or a Scroll.
*Exceptions being themes that come with them + Shell Pets.

There are 2 general types of Res Traits, Regular & Lost Grove/LG.

For regular Restricted Traits, you cannot extract them. You'll have to use a RTD.

For LG, in order to extract, the pet must be unbred, have the trait visible & either be Tamed or Exclusive.

If there are any clarifications needed, I'm happy to oblige ^^

So unless they are generated from events and not PB you cannot extract restricted traits? Just to make sure I am understanding. That is major bummer. Breeding exclusive themed to exclusive themed with the desired trait has a small chance of giving that trait to their offspring?

Yep, that's correct. & it depends on if it's carried or vis.
If it's vis, then it's 100% chance it will carry on to the offspring. If carried, then the chances are 25%.
Hiddens can vary, though it's usually 50%, if I'm not mistaken.

But only 100% if both parents carry the desired trait? It's 50/50 if only one does. Like with actual animals? (I breed and raise dairy goats irl.>.<)

Not sure I understand your question, but I found a more in depth guide on the genetics of vis & carried traits ^^
