MotD: Summer Festival Scheduled to Being (sic) Around 8/8.
The Summer Festival Pool works mostly like any other pool, with a minor adjustment to deal with the fact that, in Sylestia, it isn't possible to send gold directly to another player. (No Diamond entries, sorry.)
1. Decide on what day you think the Summer Festival will actually begin.
2. Post your guess here. Do ping me. And don't PM me. (This is an exception to my usual rule.) I know there is no MoTD about Summer Festival yet, but don't let that stop you!
3. Immediately before or after posting your guess, send me one or more items that are suitable for being sold back to the game. Examples are a Fairy Mushroom or a piece of Equipment. It is perfectly okay to bet one Fairy Mushroom, but remember, the more you bet, the larger your share of the prize is likely to be if you are a winner. I will document your guess and your bet and then accept your trade.
I will sell the items to the game to create the Summer Festival Pool. Once the Summer Festival actually starts, I will divide the Pool proportionately among all who guessed correctly. I'll PM each winner to let them know how much they've won. Then each winner mushrooms me for the amount of their prize. I will return the item you send so that you lose nothing when claiming your prize--even Fairy Mushrooms. (If you are okay with Piccolo eating the Fairy Mushroom you send, please let me know.)

I'm adding this feature because we don't yet have a MoTD about the Summer Festival's approximate start date. If you submit your guess, and the eventual MoTD does not include the date you guessed, but you turn out to be correct anyhow, I will double your prize out of my own personal gold!
05Aug25: The Pool stands at 61,023 gold!
So far, we have bets on the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 17th of August.
