How do you make a pet have can regenerate traits? If you breed two pets that can regenerate traits does the offspring also have the ability to regenerate? And why are some of the traits set in the regenerator (light grey traits)? Thanks in advance:)

Pets become regennable when their species is revamped. The offspring from these pets only inherit assigned traits, but after the pet is regenned the traits and colors will pass on to offspring.

Are the "light grey traits" ones you can't select for the pet? That should be because the trait was created after the revamp.

Just to add on, what traits can be picked when regenning has become more and more restricted with each revamp. Lunes you can choose any trait that was available before the revamp, while nytes and fae you can only choose traits the pet had before the revamp.
