I was just looking around at the proficiencies and I wanted to know, is there any way to get a pet above level 60? Or is there a way to get more than 12 proficiency points for your pet?

As of this moment there is no way to get a pet above level 60 or more than 12 proficiency points. Later on there will be an update that will allow pets to reach level 65 and you can get another proficiency point. The date for that is to be announced.
