So, I have been breeding themed pets, and I noticed that people don't buy them that fast, and space is going down. Is there any way of dealing with pets, other than releasing them?

You could buy another tab or another stable. Other than that or giving them away to newbies as welcome gifts, I think releasing them is the only option.
