Hi there, I just realised I posted this in the wrong forum and so am re-posting it here.
I have just recently returned to the game after an extended hiatus. I just had a question regarding the release of pets. From memory, releasing pets used to be part of some tasks/contests for festivals. I was just wondering if this is still a thing or if it has been phased out?

The Release boards have always been a Springfest thing, so they'll be present, in a few months when next fest rolls around.
There is now a Release component to the Patriotic event, also

The release thing is definitely a big part of patriotic fest. One of the categories (warden...?) is specifically from release points, and I know a lot of people use releasing for level 9 (which draws from all the points categories) too if they're project breeders with a ton of spare pets/stable cleaning. I had probably five full tabs of stuff I released for level 9 and I got I think a sixth of the way done that so yeah it's a lot :.D
