I have just recently returned to the game after an extended hiatus. I just had a question regarding the release of pets. From memory, releasing pets used to be part of some tasks/contests for festivals. I was just wondering if this is still a thing or if it has been phased out?

For Spring fest there are sometimes release boards along with the battle and nurture boards. The patriotic event also has a release aspect to it for one of the branches. The other fest do not have any release features.
