I feel like I've seen hatchlings for sale on advanced search but when I try to list my Sylvorpa hatchling I get an error saying pet must be in my stables to be listed for public sale.
Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

It was added not too long ago, to set a pet for public sale you now nead to move it to your stable first. This mean that you can now move even eggs out of the hatchery if you feel like it. ^-^

To add to Cian's explanation, on your pet's profile page there should be a green "move to stables" button in the lower left of the Information section. Clicking that will move the pet to your stables and allow you to set it up for public sale.
