EDIT Unconscious / dead pets
Is there any reason to feed the pets if you don't plan to go on any quests anytime soon? Can I just revive them when I need them?
Is there a risk of them dying or disappearing?
Do sylestis ever die of old age?

Hello! Pets won't die or run away if you don't feed them, nor will they die of old age. So it's alright to only feed them as you need to use them for missions and battles.

Hi, I know this has already been answered. But just wanted to add that breeding does require you to feed a pet if it's unconscious from hunger, just in case you try to breed and run into a problem. :)
