If you think this is a feel-good story. I'm sorry, you're wrong. This is the story of how I escaped my owner and found a better one. This is my story... And it starts at my original owners stable (Authors note: This is all fanmade and has nothing to do with their original owner). When my owner got me, I was only a youngling. A single specimen in the big world.

She stared at me in an indescribable way. I'm going to have a good life, I thought - but oh boy how I was wrong. She picked me up and squeezed me in a painful way and looked at me like I was a trophy that belonged to her - and only her. She guided me to her stables. Or almost knocked me out from squeezing me."Welcome HOME!" She snarled, 'hugging' me with her chubby arms. She tried forcing me in her stable but - but something else pushed me to a hatchery - her hatchery. It had mournful animals in a nest and-
A really, really creepy looking Luffox. |
"Hello, friend!" It squeaked, "Weird p-place, huh? I h-heard our owner t-takes bad care of us, but it's okay! I love... love h-her!" I could see through this Luffox. Something was wrong. I heard wheezing beneath that kind voice. It was saying 'Help!' and screaming as loud as it could. "Uhhh... what's your name?"
"Name? What's tha- Oh. My name is Rakta. It means bloo- Nevermind..." I could hear the wheezing again. It was saying 'That's not true! That's not tr-' but stopped after the Luffox made a weird face.
"Hey, YOU!" A Lighra walked in. She had the same fur as me. For some reason, I thought I knew her.
"How old are you..." She said, her eyes sparkling. "I'm pretty old."
"I'm... I think I'm three days old." I responded coolly.
"Three days?! My... My... My baby was born three days ago! Can it be?!"
But when I was about to answer, she got dragged away by that girl - into her stables.
"You mustn't go to him. You know better. I'll chain you up if you do it again... and I'll starve you to death, do you hear me?" The girl said, "Oh, and... you." She pointed at me, "Go fetch me an egg." I did as she told me, or she would probably kill me if I didn't. Then, she cracked the egg, and I could see the hatchling inside. "NO!" My mother shouted, "My baby! Please... No... Why..." Then, she kicked the girl and pounced on her. "How dare you... You killed... he would've had a... Why are you so... Can't..." She dug her claws into the girl's arms. "STOP! That hurts! I'm the leader. Alala. Me. ME! NOT YOU!" She screamed. "Oh, sweet little Lighra cub. Don't worry. I won't kill her... Oh, you must go check out the other Sylesties. They'll love you! And... Why do I understand you, you ask? Well, these earrings," She touched her earrings thoughtfully, "I can understand you with them. Isn't that wonderful? Tee hee!" |
