i have an error saying 'This pet is too high of a level for you to command' ,

how do you know what lvl can a trainer command?

Hi there, you can only battle with pets that are the same level or lower as your highest originally owned pet. Looking at your stables it looks like your highest originally owned pet is lvl 39.

You can only use pets the equal to or LOWER than your already owned pets.

So if your pre-owned pets are level 20, then any pet 21 and higher will not be usable.

This is to prevent people from buying high level pets to cheat the system and just blow through the whole game with bought pets!

It's not based on your starter pet, only pets that you originally own (generated, bred, or captured).

Sorry, but if my highest level pet is 25 and I buy a level 24 pet I can command it... but what happens if I level up only that when it reaches level 26? I would't be its original owner, so I would became unable to use it any more until I level up another pet that has me as original owner?

Yes, in that situation the pet would become unable to be added to your party.

This "level cap" system was quickly added and will be improved in the near future. It was added to avoid new players purchasing cheap pets already at the level cap and then easily defeating all of the content

And what about if it IS in my party? Would it be removed automatically? Or what else?

The check is only if you try to add it to your Party. So if it 'outleveled' you, it would remain in the party until you removed it.

The system we're going to switch over to is give each user their own "Level". All users will start at level 0 and can only command pets up to their level.

When a pet of theirs levels, their level will increase. So if your level 0 pet increases to level 1, your user level is now level 1.

But a system like that takes a little bit of time to implement and at the moment we've been pushing for a few other features that have priority atm.
