I've noticed in Firefox at least that certain queries lock the browser for a time. I have yet to verify if this behavior exists in IE, Chrome, Mozilla or Opera.
Is there any chance of spawning a thread to allow for concurrent processing so the user could go to another tab in the browser rather than freezing the entire browser while the query is running? (or another solution, not saying that's the only way) Although if that is implemented, it would then be helpful to have a search in progress notification so the user doesn't think it isn't running.
The freeze time appears to be the most noticeable in the scale shop and on a pet search. Thanks!
