As I have just proven, I was highly confused as to how the proficiency tree worked when it came to where points needed to be in order to make skills work.

I propose that the wording on the proficiency tree be changed to make it less confusing.



This misinformation is present in all skill trees and skill levels, making someone like me rather confused. How I understood the text to say is that all I needed was the 5 requisite points and the 2 points to spend in order to unlock the second enhancement. A forum conversation later, I learned that you need the 5 points to unlock the skill, + 5 points to max rank the first enhancement before you can spend the 2 points to get the second enhancement.

When designing it, I felt adding a 2nd "requires blah blah in blah blah" was way too much info on the bottom and was information overload. So I decided to use arrows as saying... this one => this one => this one. And the arrows go from grey to red to green.

In order to change it at this point, it'd require a lot of reworking.

Taking a look at the page source, I fully understand how much work that would take, and retract the suggestion. I didn't realize the way the page was put together on that particular page and now understand. My bad.

Also I'm impressed at the amount of work that was put into this page. Major kudos to you and your companions.

I actually had the same problem, and thought that just one level of the previous 'enhancement' would allow access to the next. I was wrong and wasted a point /D (thankfully you can reset points for gold)

Maybe we should just change SLIGHTY the text :

Require 5 points
to =>
Require 5 Slash points

And so on? It shouldn't take too much "place"
for text and it would clear it a bit and I knew how
large was the data in there when my 3DS was unable
to actually load the minimal in that page... -w-"

When on the last upgrade, it say it needs the
total points spent into the line before this one +
name of the "Skill Line"?~ owo

Like :
(Example taken with Slash)
Improved say : Require 5 points
Enhanced say : Require 5 Slash points
Advanced say : Require 6 Slash points

Then for Frenzy :
Require 5 Slash points
then do the same as above with Slash, but you
remplace Slash for Frenzy~ owo

But this is a suggestion of an idea that poped in
my mind, but if it's too complicated, well I'll stick to
how it is, but maybe we'll need to have some "Help
Page" somewhere, with a bit of everything with some
example for those who don't understand some things,
like the Prof Tree~ :3
