Since there are already gender differences how about some new special genes that are carried on the X chromosome? (Note: father determines offspring's sex)
Ex. A female Sylesti is a carrier for one of these traits. (X= not carried, x= carried) If she is crossed with a non-carrier male (Y= male chromosome), these are the results (Xx and XY):
Male offspring= XY or xY (so they can either display the gene or not carry it)
Female offspring= XX or xX (so they can carry it or not)
Another example. Crossing xx and XY:
M offspring: xY (they show it)
F offspring: Xx (they carry it)
Another cross: XX and xY
M: XY (not carried)
F: Xx (carried)
Another cross: Xx and xY
M: XY or xY
F: Xx or xx
This will definitely make breeding even more unique on this site. ;D (A good real life example is how orange kittens tend to be males)
The trait showing up in females is much rarer than in males. Males can't carry the gene. They can only show it or they don't have it. What do you think?
