To celebrate the Spring we will be having an outdoor scavenger hunt! So yes...this means you must go outside to find the items on the list. If you take any pictures indoors for any of the listed items then it will not count. :)

Once you have found something on the list I ask that you take a picture of it with a piece of paper with your Sylestia username and the date on it. This is so that I know that you are the one that is actually finding the things. :) You also must include pictures, if you don't then your scavenger hunt will not count.

Once you have found everything that you could, come back and post your pictures here in the correct order of the list. If there is a difficult picture where you can't photo whatever you're trying to photo and also get your name tag in it at the same time, you may take a picture without your name tag in it THEN immediately afterwards take a photo of your name tag in the area where you were trying to photo. So you would list both photos for that point on the forums.

You do not have to find everything on the list. But for each one you find you will receive a point. The more points you have the more times your name will be included in the random generator for when we do the prizes.

Everyone that also participates with at least 15 scavenger finds, will receive the forum title Nature Walker.

Note: Please be respectful of nature. Don't harm any insects or animals while you are outside. Please don't remove, destroy or harm any nests or ant hills. And please leave everything that you find outside (unless it is litter, then you can remove that and throw it away.:)). Thank you.

1. Find a pink flower.
2. Find a spider's web.
3. Find a bee or a butterfly on a flower.
4. Find a wild animal.
5. Find something edible.
6. Find some natural water (no pools etc).
7. Find some trash and throw it away.
8. Find a rock with at least 3 different colors on it.
9. Find a flowering tree.
10. Find a leaf that has been snacked on by insects/animals.
11. Find a plant seed.
12. Find something that you think is beautiful outdoors.
13. Find a tree stump.
14. Find a twig shaped like a Y.
15. Find a cloud in the sky that you think looks interesting.
16. Find some moss on a tree.
17. Find some sort of mushroom/fungus.
18. Find something soft.
19. Find something shiny.
20. Find an earthworm.
21. Find a bird's nest.
22. Find a snail/slug.
23. Find a tree that has something edible on it (fruit, nuts).
24. Find something with stripes on it.
25. Find a rainbow.


Prizes

Everyone that participates and finds at least 15 Scavenger objectives will receive the forum title Nature Walker. You will receive one point for completing each objective, with a maximum of 25 points. Each point will get your name entered an additional time into the random generator for when I draw prizes.

The top ten names randomized will receive prizes, you can't win "multiple" times. The Scavenger Hunt ends at the time of the festival which is June 12, 2016 at 11:59PM Server Time.

This is a really cute/fun idea. Unfortunately... it won't be very easy for people far south of the equator. Lucky for me, that's not my issue.

In the one about a leaf that has been nibbled on, do we have to catch the critter nibbling on it, or just take a picture of a leaf that looks chewed up?
