It was a beautiful morning with the red sun starting to rise. In an oak tree, two aurleons were asleep in a huge nest. The male green aureon arose from the nest and let out a yawn. He went to the edge of the branch to see his surroundings. There was a huge wheat field in front of him and a green meadow behind him. In the distance, the aurleon can see a windmill and people working in the wheat field.

The other aurleon woke up as the sunlight hits her face. This blue aurleon check under her feathers. There was an egg that the aurleon have betakeing care of for some time. The green aurleon went to his mate to check if everything was all right.

Then a noise from a nearby bush startled the father aurleon. The aurleon flue to the bush to see what was the noise from. A huge net popped out of the bush and landed on top of the aurleon. He tried to escape the net, but two men were holding the net down. "Got him!" yelled one of the men, "Kevin! Get the other one!" The trapped aurleon made a loud noise that warned his mate.

The mother aurleon grab her egg and flue off towards the wheat field. One of the men took a cross bow and hit the aurleon. She fell out of the sky and fell into the wheat field. The egg was alright, but the mother had an arrow right where the wing connects to the body, so she can't fly. So the mother then hind her egg in the wheat. She used all of her strength to get faraway from her egg, because she knew the men will catch her and will get her baby if she is near it. She only hoped that some caring heart would find her baby.

The shy was blue over the wheat field. In the wheat field, there was a teenage girl riding on her Qitari. The girl, Wendy, was busy studying a map to Esior Haven. Wendy was so focus on the map that she didn't notice the lump of grass in front of her. Her Qitari noticed the lump and stopped walking. "What is it, Max?" Wendy said when she realized Max stopped. "Don't tell me that you want to stop now. We're too close to Esior's Haven to give up."

Wendy sees the large lump of grass. She jumps off Max and investigates the mysterious lump. After slowly pelling some the grass of the lump, Wendy see a blue smooth surface. The lump was clean off most of the grass. Wendy realized that the lump was an egg. "Oh dear," Wendy said in a soft voice, "I hope I didn't just ruin a nest." Looking around her, Wendy did not see any other animal but max and the egg.

The egg was cool, but not cold enough to kill it. "This egg was abandon, I guess" Wendy said as she picked up the blue egg. "Don't worry, little egg. I'll take care of you. I need to find someone who is an expert in animals." She pulled a blanket out of her bag and wrapped the egg with the blanket. Wendy climb back on Max. Max began to run towards Esior's Haven.
