A figure was dashing through the grass and leaping off rocks, a second shadow dashed after the other but only ran on the grass and followed in the first figures footsteps and they came into a clearing and they were no longer shadows but two luffox's, Star and her father Thorn. Thorn chased after Star and as he was about to grab her tail she made a quick turn and face planted into a tree and fell on the grass with a dizzy expression. "Looks like i win again" Star drew a claw and marked the tree that had a bunch of tally marks and the one Star drew was the 103rd tally mark. "I don't know how to do this everyday" Thorn got up and gave his fur a brush with his paws. "Well you know that someday i might get a mutation. Maybe i might get mums rabbit tail?" as Star finished her sentence Thorn expression turned sad his eyes clouded with grief and sadness and had a small gaze at his neck. "Dad are you OK?" Star nudged her father and followed him back home. Star could see storm cloud haunted the skies and she knew it might rain soon. They reached home and curled up to have an evening nap. About an hour later Star woke up to a cold breeze but her parents didn't notice it as they were curled up together. Star exited the den out of the short branch tunnel and saw a something that haunted her dreams when she was little, the same luffox ghost sat on the smooth rock and turned her head to look at Star. Star was frozen in fear and she approached the ghost. Star whispered in fear "What do you want, you already haunted my dreams of drowning. Now what do you want" Star felt frozen to the spot and tried to sound brave but she was scared out of her fur. The ghost looked up at the sky and heavy,heavy rain fell down on the forest and she heard a loud boom from the mountain, and a flood of water rained down on the forest and headed towards the den. the ghost leaned forward and whispered in sadness and grief, "run" . "Mum, dad wake up there's a flood!" Thorn and rain shot up and headed down the tunnel with Star to the playground and all huddled together, but something was clawing at Star's heart that they were still not safe were they were. Rumbling filled the sky as thunder and lightning crashed through the sky. Star peered around and saw the hole in the wall were she liked to look at the stars, water was heading strait toward her family and her, "MUM, DAD WE HAVE TO-" Star turned away and felt water crash down on her and sweep her family under the surface of the water. She kicked about trying to get to the surface but was only swept deeper into the water, "Let the water take you" a ghostly voice said. Star hesitated for a moment then let herself go limp and felt herself go to the surface and gulped in air then followed the current out of the hole from the playground. She coughed up water and was too weak to get up, she looked around and saw a light, Star thought it was a firefly but it was a human in a raincoat holding a lantern and it picked her up by the scruff and carried her into a house that took 10 min to get to. The human held her up and looked her right in the eye, "Heh you will make a lot of money" he greedily smiled and threw her in a cage. Star didn't feel anything but sorrow as she knew her family could have died in that flood, she looked in the next cage and her heart began to feel happy again as she saw the live breathing bodies of Thorn and Rain huddled together.
