When viewing a particular Sylesti in either the hatchery or stable, there should be a 'Return' link that allows you to return to either the hatchery or stable, instead of having to click on stables and start the process over again. You also might be able to get rid of the 'view previous/next pet in ...' links as well, unless others actually use that. I just think, considering how many Sylestis you are capable of having, it's a hassle to only be able to view them in linear order.

There are also some other places where I feel a 'Return' link is beneficial, and I will add to this topic as I find them again.

There is a return button to stables and hatchery. It is down with the Sylesti's information, right under the Proficiency link. In the hatchery, it is right above Release Sylesti.

Here's another one: When doing the proficiencies, I don't see a link to return to the pet you are looking at. Is there one that I've missed again?

Haha don't worry. Took me about a week to notice it, too.

Though I had noticed the lack of back button from proficiency, so that would be really useful.

click the pet image and you should be back, TADAA!
