When you have a captured Eggling, I've seen that you can't tell what species it will be until it hatches. (Haven't yet gotten a bred Eggling, so I don't know if it's true there too.)
However, I've discovered if you go to breeding grounds, and select all boxes and click through the list of species it will tell you what breed and gender your Egglings will grow up to be. (Plus give you a general idea of colors through the 'babies' they produce.)
Is this intentional or not?

Maybe a way to easy fix this would be to take egglings off as an option for the test breeding?

Egglings have been removed from the Breeding Grounds. Hatchlings should also no longer display hidden mutations unless they are genetically tested.
