Introduction

You grew up in a world full of humans that hated anything unlike them, with cities full of humans and secretive villages where everyone can get along. You have just moved out of your home in the city and now you are moving to another city just beyond this very wooded nature preserve, you just have to make it through the forest.

After several days of wandering through the forest you find yourself lost, wait what's that? A town! Why is there a town in the middle of a forest like this? Should this be illegal? You wonder to yourself as you walk into the town, It's gorgeous and well kept, all the trees are pruned and there's flowers everywhere along the walkways. The houses are all very quaint, they're modern, yet they still have an almost simplistic feel to them. Although the streets feel somewhat empty what else could you expect from a small town like this?

As you walk by a large field of flowers as well as some other assorted seasonal crops a young woman pokes her head above the flower bushes. "Ah! Hello!" She runs over and it would be almost terrifying speed had she not been so welcoming. "Welcome to town! I can't wait to be friends!" The first thing you notice about this girl is that she is not human, she has tiny pink horns just peaking out of her hair accompanied by pointed ears and slight fangs as well as a long tail with a poof of fur at the end. She doesn't even give you a chance to reply before she's dragging you off. "You HAVE to meet the mayor! He's so cool! I'm sure he can get you a place to stay!"

You're dragged to the biggest and nicest house in town, this is quite obviously where the mayor lives. The girl bangs on the door and waits for an answer, as she does she looks to you and smiles. "My name is Mika by the way~ "

After a couple more moments of waiting the door is answered by a tall man with slightly messy center parted hair that was slightly off-white. His eyes remained closed as he answered the door and greeted you. Hello? Who's there? He stepped outside revealing his royal purple suit with a teal tie and buttons to match. It's me! Mika! And we have a new person who wants to move in! Giving you no chance to protest or introduce yourself Mika explained why she assumed you were here. Well welcome to town, If you'll come inside we can get your living arrangements set up. The man lead you inside.


Notes:
This is a fairly modern RP however the use of cars and other current technology seems to be limited in the village. Cell Phones would most likely not have service, Most people have cars but have little use for them as everything in town is within walking distance. The only times cars are used is when there are trips to the city.

Trips to the city should be planned and if you aren't human you must be VERY careful as if you are spotted the least that will happen is you will be chased out of the city. Humans can go to and from the city as they please.

Anyone that joins before the RP has started is considered an already existing resident of the town, If you join after the RP has started then you must state whether you want to be an already existing resident or if you want to be just moving in.

If you have any questions or would like an exception to any of these rules PLEASE pm me first.

1. No god modding (controlling another person's character without their permission, auto-heals, always dodges, Instant win/kills, etc)
2. Keep it PG-13 anything more must be moved elsewhere, if you're not sure if it's okay send me a pm asking me. (Light swearing, Moderate gore. I can take it but others may not be able to)
3. Typos should be kept to a minimum, your browser probably has spell check, use it.
4. On the other hand don't get on people's cases about typos.
5. No killing other people's characters without permission
6. You must get your character approved before role playing
7. I would prefer Characters to be posted in the Finding Roleplayers thread for ease of access for everyone.
8. Do not bring in more characters than you can control, however you are free to bring in as many as you like. (If you do have multiple characters and plan on posting with more than one of them in one post please divide the characters with SOMETHING, unless they directly interact with each other)
9. Although powers are allowed any more than 2 must have some form of limitation or downfall to them. (Powers such as mastery over a weapon or skill does not count and you do not need to include them in the count unless you have more than 3 skills you are exceptional at)

Personality: Mika is outgoing and kind. Although she sometimes acts very childish around certain people she can also be very loving. She has a somewhat devious side and sometimes pulls pranks on those she respects most. She use to be human but after spending 3 years, followed by another 10 not much later, she's become somewhat violent and unpredictable at times. But usually she's calm, caring and nice.

Relations(Friends, Lovers, Family, ect): Mika lives with her boyfriend, Ace. Her best friend is Onyx and Takami looks after her as somewhat of a big brother figure. Generally she's friends with nearly everyone in town.

Physical Description or Picture: Takami has white center parted hair that goes to the back of his neck, although it doesn't look particularly well kept it looks like he at least tries to put some effort into it in the morning. His eyes are usually closed, however on the rare occasion that they are open(Usually when he is furious) they reveal a deep teal color. He has fairly pale skin, almost colorless. Takami is a little under six feet tall and is moderately slim. He wears a royal purple suit with a teal tie to match his eyes. There are only four buttons on the front of the suit, placed rather oddly to the unknowing eye, but to him they are recognized as a braille T. For good measure he has the letter T embroidered on the suit pocket. Underneath the suit coat he wears a typical white dress shirt. When the white dress shirt is removed it is revealed that Takami's chest and arms are covered in burn marks. He wears white socks and black dress shoes.

Personality: Takami can be somewhat arrogant, a little secretive about himself, but overall is a very caring man. He tries to keep a calm and collected attitude, however if something is truly upsetting to him he may raise his voice. He has good posture, as if he thinks about every single step he takes with pride and elegance. He is very social, as without sight he can get bored very easily in silence. He would be the one to host big fancy parties for the heck of it.

Relations(Friends, Lovers, Family, ect): Takami is engaged to Svetlana. He also acts as a care taker of Mika, even if she doesn't need it. As mayor of the town he talks to everyone very frequently and in the very least tolerates nearly everyone in town.

Dislikes: Loud Noises, Being Pranked by Mika, To much paperwork

Other: Takami is blind and therefore his other senses are enhanced slightly. Takami given the opportunity can play various sting instruments such as the Violin, Lute, Piano, Organ and the Harpsichord(to be fair they are all keyboard based instruments so after learning the piano it didn't take long to learn the organ an harpsicord as well.) When he still had his vision he was a talented tinkerer. Although he retained some of his tinkering ability, it is hard for him without his sight. Takami can cook for himself however he'd much rather have Svetlana cook for him. Despite his lack of sight he has a fairly good sense of direction.

Personality: Aluid is usually pretty shy and submissive, although he's gained some confidence as he's become settled in town. It may not seem like it he can really stick up for the ones he cares about if he needs to. He's really good with animals and as such he owns a ranch and a loyal dog named Roxy.

Physical Description or picture: Fester's hair is black and somewhat shiny. His hair is slightly long in the back, going down to the middle of the back of his neck. His bangs nearly covers his eyes in the front and he has slight sideburns in front of his pointed ears. His eyes are dark red with slightly slit like pupils and they almost have a mean look to them. Fester's skin is a pale gray and when cut his blood is thick and brown as if it's old congealed blood barely flowing within him. Fester is very tall being a little over 6 and a half feet tall with a slim build. He wears a Reddish-Orange v-neck T-shirt. He wears a gold amulet with a large red gem set in it. He has bandages wrapped around his neck and upper arms. Often times when he's outside he wears a tan hood and cape. He wears maroon loose fitting jeans.. Personality: Fester's visage may seem menacing or intimidating, but for the most part Fester is fairly normal. When he just meets you how he reacts varies greatly upon how the person's first impression is. He's always a flirt around the ladies, except those he hold closest. Usually he's pretty mellow and laid back, although when interacting with people he doesn't care for he may get rude or sarcastic.

Relations(Friends, Lovers, Family, ect): Fester lives in a caravan with Aloevan, his best friend. He's Blanche's boyfriend so don't you touch. Either of them.

Likes: Adventuring/Dungeoneering, Traveling, Dancing, Telling Fortunes and Cooking.

Dislikes: Competition, Fire and Sunlight, Not being able to sleep, people that misjudge him

Other: Fester is a cannibal, although he wouldn't eat his friends. PEOPLE WILL NOT KNOW HE IS A CANNIBAL UNLESS I SAY. This means you're characters WILL NOT know unless I message you or you specifically ask for them to know. Healing magic(magic being any form of spell or unnatural healing power) will not work on Fester although traditional healing will (such as stitches and surgery.) The closer he gets to death the less he'd care about who's corpse it is he'd eat from in order to heal. As death gets closer he'd be more determined to kill a human in such a case where there are no dead humans around, using all his strength and disregarding any new injuries obtained in said process. At this point friend or foe no longer matters and all that matters is survival. Such cases he is almost zombie like and he is no longer in control of himself.

Personality: Vitiatus tends to be quiet and somewhat cold. He also tends to be somewhat cruel or harsh. There's very few he tolerates and cares for and the rest he avoids or purposely pushes them away. He is also pretty self degredating, often times saying how he deserves what he's gotten himself into. He always seems to regret something he's done or said and if he made plans with someone he might just not show up at all. He also likes to brag about his power, followed by saying something along the lines of it doesn't matter though because I'm always sick.

Personality: Caoil is a rather moody person and easy to irritate despite the fact he mostly remains cool (pun intended). He's sassy and doesn't quite care too much about upsetting others unless they're a friend. Though its difficult to befriend him seeing as how he likes to be alone most of the time. Past that shell of his however, he's rather caring and protective, willing to fight anyone that dares harm anyone that is hostile to those he enjoys the company of.

Likes: Cold things, The cold in general, plants, animals, reading, training, hunting, and relaxing

Dislikes: Heat, People that don't know what the meaning of personal bubble is and people upsetting his friends.

Other: Due to Caoil being an Ice Demon, this means his body temperature is freezing. The guy hardly has any heat in him and his warm clothes are more to keep the cold insulated for him and so that way you don't freeze to death should you touch him. His body is mostly ice so if he's out in the heat long enough, he'll melt. Though if he melts completely, he won't die, he'll just remain a puddle of water until he can properly reform himself (which usually takes a month or two).
