Name: Zero Kiryuu

Personalty: Zero is generally a composed person, though occasionally he can act with coldness and hostility, especially towards Kaname and Yuuki during the second 'part' of the manga once she is revealed to be a pureblood. Though he appears otherwise, he is a gentle and kind person. Due to his childhood, he builds barriers around himself, rather than opening up to Yuki when they first got to know each other, a trait that is still evident even in the latest chapters of the manga. Yet despite this, he has a kind heart which longs to protect humans, and will never betray the ones he holds dear.

As a child, Zero was once a quiet and gentle boy, to the point that Ichiru questioned whether or not he was even capable of being a vampire hunter. However, after Shizuka's attack, Zero developed a strong hatred towards vampires. Zero is a tsundere character; he sports a scary aura that makes most of the Day Class students wary of him. He can also glare in a way that even Kaname Kuran calls scary. However, his innate nature is to protect humans, and his cold attitude towards those he loves is likely to push them away and keep everyone at a distance. He also happens to be a stickler for details, as he doesn't consider himself as an adopted son of Kaien's family with Yuki, and he lists all the ways that vampires and humans can be similar in their own ways. As told by Ichiru to Kaien, Zero's favorite food is vegetable soup, but he also enjoys shio ramen.

Following his full awakening as a vampire, Zero harbors a great disgust towards himself because of his inability to control his hunger and reliance on Yuki. His dismal outlook on his future and fear of what he might do if he becomes a level E causes him to give up and he almost kills himself with his anti-vampire gun, the Bloody Rose, but Yuki arrives just in time to stop him. He would rather ignore his hunger to the point of starvation before going to Yuki for help. He tries to help Yuki resolve her own problems and then impresses upon her that its alright for her to burden and use him because she owns him.

Zero is hostile towards the Night Class vampires when they threaten him, however he adopts his standard tsundere attitude when engaging them one on one, retaining a level of civility. Zero expresses a great deal of anger towards Purebloods because of their mechanisms in his life in particular, and because of this, he extends this hostility toward Yuki as well after she turns into a Pureblood vampire. In spite of this, his sense of duty overrides his issues, ensuring his reliability and trustworthiness.

A gifted hunter who is intelligent, athletic, and good-hearted, Zero nevertheless has a difficult time thinking of himself or any other vampire as anything but a monster. He struggles both with his desires for blood and in the latest chapters, his equally strong desire to kill vampires. Because of all this, Zero can be very closed off, as well as being difficult to understand or get close to, especially since he has a habit of not expressing his true feelings. He hides his true feelings behind a cold, composed personality. He has a lot of attitude, is not at all impressed or easily controlled by higher class vampires, and he also carries a positively burning hatred of all Purebloods. He often acts as if he doesnt care about anything in order to hide all the scars and pain inside him that have nowhere to go. When not about his duties or in class, he can frequently be found in the Cross Academy stables with the fiery horse, White Lily, with whom he seems to share a special affinity. He is also quite a good cook which was admitted even by Aido, who is known for being quite picky.

History: Zero was born to a Vampire Hunter's family. Zero, along with his identical twin brother, Ichiru, and Kaito Takamiya, were trained as a vampire hunter by Toga Yagari who frequently looked after the twins when Zero's parents were out hunting. Yagari lost an eye protecting Zero when his teacher turned wild and tried attacking Zero due to her Level E state. His teacher had ran away from her aristocrat. This was Zero's first lesson on the danger of seemingly innocent vampires. Zero promises Toga Yagari that he will never regret losing his eye to protect Zero.

Four years ago, Zero and Ichiru found Shizuka Hio sitting in a tree, whom Zero immediately recognized as a vampire and told Ichiru to stay away from her. A few days later Shizuka attacked his family. She bit Zero and killed his parents; Zero passed out believing she had killed his brother as well.

After that attack, Zero was taken in by Kaien Cross to stay in Cross Academy. Yuki approached him carefully and cared for him despite him being cold and hostile towards her. Zero gradually grew affection for her but kept it to himself due to her love for Kaname Kuran. Zero failed to reveal that he was going to turn into a vampire after Yuki said she was afraid of all other vampires. Over the next four years, the two become closer but not on a level they could call each other friends.

Vampire Hunters have the power to sense vampires, have slightly accelerated healing, and can even perform some magical spells. Vampire hunters are able to wield and use anti-vampire weapons. These qualities make a hunter much stronger than that of the average human. Some vampire hunters are known to live past the expected age of an average human due to the amount of vampire blood in their veins.

Zero is a vampire hunter who was chosen by Kaname to become a Pureblood killing machine. Zero possesses the standard abilities to sense vampires from a far distance, accelerated healing and in spite of being a vampire, is also able to wield anti-vampire weapons, (But not artemis). Since he became a vampire, Zero is able to distinguish Purebloods from other vampires and has gained improved healing abilities. Kaname tells Zero that after he devours Ichiru's blood, he would become the world's strongest hunter. He then explains that since he has drunken Yuki's blood and because she's a Pureblood, just like Kaname and Shizuka, it has made him even stronger. After completing the fragment, along with Ichiru now being deceased, Bloody Rose has now become a part of his body, growing veins that can easily kill vampires; but it requires either his blood or other blood to do so.

Zero's beast form made its first appearance in 40th Night after he drank Ichiru's blood and it's shadow was seen on the wall. In 82nd Night, the beast form is released in a new attack from Bloody Rose when Zero fights Kaname shortly after drinking Sara's blood.

Bloody Rose
The Bloody Rose is an anti-vampire gun that Zero keeps behind his school uniform blazer. Zero is able to transform his gun, Bloody Rose into its evolved state, after consuming his twin brother, Ichiru. Bloody Rose literally becomes a part of his body. However the cost is using a high amount of his blood. In the manga and anime, Zero had used Bloody Rose to kill Rido. It is Zero's main weapon throughout the entire series.

Origins of Bloody Rose
Bloody Rose was a weapon born from the sacrifice of a Pureblood vampire, The Hooded Woman, 10,000 years ago. Artemis and Bloody Rose were originally Kaname Kuran's personal weapons during the wartime before he gave them to Cross Kaien to be in-charge. They were later passed down to Yuki Kuran when she became the school guardian and Zero Kiryu when he became a vampire hunter respectively.

Personalty: Ichiru was a complicated person marked by many conflicting emotions and actions. Although he was very close to Zero as a child, he nevertheless struggled with the inevitability of being left behind by his brother as well as the strain of not being able to make it in the hunter world. He eventually became jealous because of how Zero could be healthy and normal while he couldn't. He was also compliicit in Shizuka's murder of his parents but requested that Zero be left alive and turned. Though professing to both love and hate Zero upon different occassions, Ichiru didn't always appear to know his own mind when it came to his twin but his actions indicated that in whatever way, Zero was incredibly important to him. The only other person who was just as important to him in his life was Shizuka Hio and he was heartbroken and angry when she died.

History: Born into the Kiryu hunter family as Zero's twin brother and due to the Hunter's curse, most if not all of his hunter powers were absorbed by Zero, which subsequently gave the latter increased power as a Hunter. Though his parents were highly skilled Vampire Hunters, they were both killed by Shizuka when she attacked the Kiryu household one winter night after he (Ichiru) left the house.

Kaname is generally a calm, elegant, stoic and authoritative individual. However, he becomes a completely different person with Yuki; to her, Kaname is very gentle and warm.

This disposition bothers the Night Class vampires, who initially do not understand his favoritism towards her. Yuki herself feels confused about how Kaname lovingly cares for her.

Kaname expresses occasional jealousy towards Zero Kiryu because of Yuki's connection to him, and is not afraid to show this to Yuki.
He is very strict and often imposes discipline in a fierce way as the Dorm President, yet he is indulgent and kinder towards Yuki. Kaname has acknowledged to Rido that he has a contradictory nature, which leads him to both desiring to lock Yuki up and keep her to himself, but alternatively to watch her protectively while encouraging her to be herself. Kaname never hides the fact that he is not interested in anything else but Yuki's welfare. Every action he makes is towards one goal, and that is Yuki's safety; his greatest fear is losing her.

He is very determined to have Yuki live for all of eternity by his side and not only deeply fears losing her because of the ten years she spent as a human, but also because he doesn't want to experience the same heartbreak as he did the past, when the Hooded Woman sacrificed herself in his place. His solitary nature makes him rather secretive. Kaname has the Pureblood power of controlling vampires, but he chooses not to exercise this power at first. Thus earning the respect of the Noble vampires, as mentioned by Takuma Ichijo and Akatsuki Kain. Sometimes when he is with other vampires he acts particularly cold and domineering, but he usually seems to treat them with detached politeness

History:
Kaname Kuran is the ancestor of the Kuran clan, one of the founders of the vampire race. He lived alongside another mysterious ancestor known as The Hooded Woman. This woman tossed her heart into a blazing furnace in order to forge weapons which kill vampires. Artemis, The Bloody Rose, and all the other weapons used by the Hunter's Association were born from The Hooded Woman's sacrifice. Soon after, her body cracked and shattered into a million pieces. Having witnessed this, Kaname put himself into an eternal slumber, seeing no more reason to live until a few thousand years later, when he would be awakened to become the new parent.

Kaname was awoken by his descendant, Rido Kuran, who had sacrificed the life of an innocent baby (Yuki's biological brother, named after Kaname himself).Rido had intended on devouring Kaname, however, this backfired, as a starved Kaname attacked and drained him. Rido was later held by the council for protection.

Due to his weakened state after being revived, Kaname transformed his body into that of a baby and suppressed his memories, entrusting his life in the hands of Haruka and Juri Kuran, who raised Kaname in place of the son that Rido had killed.

As children, Kaname and Yuki shared a very close relationship, even going so far as to promise they would marry and live a life like their parents. Kaname was not especially outgoing around children his own age. He first met Hanabusa, Akatsuki, and Ruka as children, but they did not form bonds until several years later after the deaths of Haruka and Juri. Kaname was willing to waive his original plan in order to live with Yuki for all eternity.

At the start of the story (but unbeknownst to Yuki), ten years ago, Rido had finally recovered from Kaname's initial attack. He trespassed into their home, intending to take the Kuran Princess (Yuki) for his own personal gain. He failed in doing so, but he did manage to kill his brother Haruka. Kaname confronted Rido, who revealed that despite Kaname's desire to kill him, he was simply unable to because Rido was the one who had awoken Kaname from his slumber and was therefore his master. Instead, Kaname attacked Rido for a second time, severely wounding him by tearing hs body into pieces, leaving him alone again to recover.

Their mother Juri's last wish was that Kaname protect Yuki, whom she had given her life for in order to suppress Yuki's memories and vampiric side in order to live a happy, normal human life.

Kaname left the now-human Yuki to Kaien Cross, while he himself was taken in by Takuma's grandfather, a man whom he distrusted. During Yuki's childhood, Kaname frequently visited her and remained a steady presence in her life. After Kaien Cross built the Academy, he agreed to let Kaname take over the night class, having ultimate rule over the vampires who attended, but only so that he could stay near Yuki and protect her from afar.

Like all Pureblood vampires, Kaname has immortality and the ability to heal from anything excluding anti-vampire weapon wounds to the heart or head. Like all vampires, he can absorb the powers from vampires whose blood he drinks. Kaname's powers have been listed as immeasurable. However, in the manga, he has stated that when his mind wanders he "loses control," as seen when he accidentally burns a hole in the wall (in the manga) and a tree (in the anime), both barely missing Takuma, and also shatters a window. Like all vampires, he also has enchanced strength and super speed. Kaname has demonstrated the following abilities:
Telekinesis.
Erasing memories.
Creation of a familiar in any form he chooses, such as a bat able to convey messages and a wolf from which he can receive information instantly, and used to watch over Yuki when she left the Kuran Mansion. His familiar is also strong enough to carry another person and wields his telekinetic powers.
Transformation of his body into a weapon.
Controlling Bloody Rose through his voice.
Control of multiple vampires by his command against their will.
Changing the physicality of his body i.e. changing his body into an infant.
Manipulate another Pureblood (hiding Toma inside his familiar).
Ability to turn a Pureblood vampire into a human.
Technically, since he burned a tree/a wall, he can use fire. Also, like all Kurans, he is able to use vampire hunter weapons, however due to his relations with the vampire hunters' ancestor (also his fiancee) he gets hurt by the weapons, while other Kurans do not.

So I just started watching Vampire Knight and I am absolutely in love with Zero!!! Could there be some way that he falls in love with one of my characters!!! When I finish them of course... Also, I feel like I am the only one making extra characters that are not apart of the anime... Can you guys make some too? Please... ^-^

On season two and I have learned a lot more about the school and how it is ran... I have to say that I never liked Kaname in the beginning and I still don't like him. Zero for LIFE!!! XD... So I am making two vampire brothers kind of thing... I was actually making it before I started watching the anime and I am glad I went to the anime for reference... I was doing so much wrong ^-^

Also I find Yuki to be a whining brat... I don't like her at all. She needs to grow up and stop acting like a child... *Glares at Yuki* I am going to make her life hell in this Rp....

Which season are we basing this Rp off of because if we are going off of season two then your guys's forums are hugely incorrect. Yuki wouldn't be going to that school anymore and Zero hates her because of her pureblood lineage... You would also add that Kaname is her brother and fiance... All of this... Also, is it right for me to make characters that are not vampires seeing as mine would be the only ones who are not vamps? Maybe you guys should make some too and than they can be the new students that show up... Transfers if you must and these transfers will help us fit the roles of our new humans... Kinda like our humans were there the whole time and are only just starting to become important in this somehow...

Edit: Also, I finished both seasons sooo... I know pretty much everything and Zero's twin is dead so Soltra, you wouldn't be able to play him...

Cora hasn't gotten to season two yet! I read well past that though, sp I know the forms are HUGELY outdated. But... Cora hasn't known that yet ^^ Which is why i didn't add any of that. Besides, I would need like one post of each of them if I did that XD Too much info.
And Ichiru is still alive ^^ At least until Zero kills him in this rp! Cause it's still season one... Cause cora hasnt gotten to season two... and I got so confused when Ichiru Died cause i had no idea why there were vines on his body XD Then I read the later Nights, but stopped at night 82.
