Due to the unexpected disappearance of our narrator, we will be restarting this roleplay, with the three original roleplayers joining this newer version.

A little bit about this roleplay. There will be two narrators, Coradrawa and I, and we will add and roleplay NPCs/ minor characters as well.

Story
The story takes place in a town called Icarus. Icarus is an odd town--it is surrounded by a tall fence topped with barbed wire. There is a curfew at night, from 10 pm to 5 am. No one enforces this curfew, but anyone outside during this time disappears without a trace. Investigations have been made, but nothing has turned up. A lab complex stands at the north end of town, but it is unknown to the general residence what is studied there. All that is known is that, on the side of the building facing the town, there is an intricately detailed spray-painted image of a golden sun with an open eye peering out of the center. If could be the logo of the company, but the fact that it is spray-painted suggests otherwise. In all other respects, Icarus is a normal town.
Our previous narrator made a map, so here it is. Though it would be wise to note that the map is still subject to change for all roleplayers are allowed to add their own information for Icarus, except when:
1. It conflicts with something someone else has already said
2. It conflicts with the storyline.
In that case, we'll either ignore it and go with what was first said, or ask you to change it.

Rules/Requirements
Please write in correct grammar and as if this were a passage in a book. This means: No chat speak, and no speaking in asterisks. #Chat speak allowed only if texting, emailing...

Someone willing and able to actively participate. This will go along at about one or two posts per day, more if we're online at the same time. If you are overloaded with RPs already, it's wisest not to join. Also, I understand writer's block (even I skip replying for at most two days if i really cannot think of anything), but if it's taking a while please just post something and we'll roll with it. We'll try to structure it so this hopefully doesn't happen.
Also, if you have to go MIA, for any reason, do tell us, and if possible, a rough estimate of when you can come back.

1. Newcomer to Icarus
Just finished school/college and moved to Icarus to start their life.

3. Lab Worker ~Recommended for a more experienced roleplayer. Requires the ability to keep a secret.
Fairly self-explanatory, works at the lab. Can be married or unmarried BUT details about their job are secret and cannot be told. (Either gender, ages 29-43) Taken
4. Lab Apprentice: Although works in the lab, he/she knows nothing of what happened before he/she joined. Will be working with my character, Krad, as his apprentice. - Taken
5. Police Officier: Has been in Icarus since the attacks/ missing people cases started. - Taken

Background: pretty uneventful life up until around age 17, graduated high-school a year early and immediately got accepted into a community collage, got a part time job as a programmer and made decent money, one day, got mugged on a walk, proceeded to get into small arms training and later completed a two year course in cyber security, continued working full time for a half a year, moved to Icarus for a better paying cyber security job and is currently living in and paying off a 2 floor house with a small indoor training area and gun range.

Achiever, she works hard and tries to get things done as fast she can. Quiet, doesn't really talk much unless spoken to. Caring, she hates to see people in pain.

A few strengths: For a girl she is pretty strong. She can climb trees and reach the top in a matter of seconds. She is very flexible and she is almost as agile as a cat.
A few weaknesses: She is terrified of thunderstorms or other loud noises like police sirens, gunshots, and loud banging. She is mentally weak and hates when people are mean to her. She usually breaks down crying or will lock herself in a closet or something. Sometimes she cuts herself but in places where no one can see or she will pinch skin off of her arm.
History: During birth, Rebecca was given up for adoption. While she was a child she lived with a foster parent, because she had problems from birth. Rebecca developed the disease Pertussis, or most commonly referred to as, Whooping Cough. She spent six weeks in child care at the local hospital before she was returned to her foster parent. By age three, she was old enough to be sent to an orphanage. She spent eight years at that orphanage and developed a bond with the elder lady, Mrs. Roboski, that ran it. By age eleven, Mrs. Roboski dies and Rebecca was moved to another orphanage. This is where she developed her nervous tick and began pinching herself. She cried for weeks after she figured out what happened to Mrs. Robuski. By age fourteen she was finally adopted and moved in with a nice family. She settled down in her new house and went to the public school just down the street. It was halfway into her Middle School year and she didn't blend in with the rest of the kids. She was bullied and picked on for the rest of the year. When eighth grade graduation came around Rebecca's mental state was in pieces. She was scared of school and tried her hardest not to go. Her adopted parents told her that she had to go so she attended. She was given a reward for being the most promising of the class and while she walked across the stage kids booed and shouted slander at her. By ninth grade she hit rock bottom. Her parents took her to therapy where she was prescribed with medication for her depression. Things were starting to look up, she got a job, a boyfriend, she finally found a friend she could talk too. By tenth grade they pulled her off of her medication and just went to normal talking sessions. A few weeks later Rebecca was pregnant. She was happy that she was pregnant and so was her boyfriend Jace. Six weeks later Rebecca started showing her pregnancy and people at school started making fun of her again. Calling her a ****** and saying she would sleep with any guy that would call her beautiful. A few weeks later she got an abortion. When she told Jace he was devastated. She told him it was the only option she had and he left her. A few weeks later Jace hung himself from the ceiling fan in his living room. He wrote a note to her and told her how he still loved her and how that baby meant the world and that she was the reason that he killed himself. Rebecca was devastated... Not even a week later she started cutting herself. She started on her thigh but it wasn't enough. By twelfth grade, Rebecca tried to commit suicide six times. Her body was scarred with cuts and she normally wore long sleeved shirts and pants so no one could see them. She graduated high school and moved far away from home. She spent eight years in college and graduated with a degree in science. WIth her new found knowledge she moved to the small town of Icarus with all of her problems still hidden under the surface. She still cuts herself whenever something happens and she can't handle the problem.
Weapons: Rebecca owns a bow and some arrows along with a few small knives she carries around in her bag. She is trained with the bow but not so much with the knives.
Special Object: Rebecca owns a small ring that she usually wears on her pinky finger. She got it from someone special to her fourteen or so years ago because of her love of music. She visits his grave at least three times a year.
