~~~~In the old days, there was a time when the magical and the normal folk lived together peacefully. The normal people, known as the Quotidian practically worshipped those who had magic, who were known as the Nisse. They dressed the Nisse in the finest clothes and gave them a luxurious life for their talents. In return, the Nisse helped the Quotidian to make their lives easier. They used their powers for good. The Nisse have been immortalised in what we now know as fairy tales for their skills. But as time progressed, technology developed. Tools and machines were invented and the Quotidian didn't need to rely on the Nisse anymore. Gradually, the existence of the Nisse faded. Their previous fame diminished and they weren't happy. There were uprisings from the Nisse, who hated their decline. A terrible war was started. For years the two races fought, and blood was shed from both sides. A half breed of Nisse and Quotidian named Peter was born, and he became the saviour. He used his powers to put the Nisse in a deep sleep, leaving them in a world away from the Quotidian. The Quotidians lived on the world we know today. The Nisse lived in Bestiary, undisturbed. Soon enough both races forgot the past. The only remains of that time were the stories passed on.~~~~
~~~~Hundreds of years later though, the world is once again changing. The blood of those who are descended from the Nisse is awakening, and those in Bestiary are being brought back to our world. Slowly the long forgotten time where these two worlds were one is dawning again. The Earth and Bestiary will reunite once more. And there are those from both sides of the fence who will do anything to abuse it. ~~~~

I'm bored and exams are coming up so I am going to need something to distract me from studying. So this is a new RP that I want to try out. XD

The RP is set both in the modern day, in a city called Reneseaa (it's not real, just an average run of the mill city) and in Bestiary. Bestiary is starting to appear in the forest on the edge of Reneseaa.
Rules
1. NO OP CHARACTERS. Hopefully there won't be too much fighting, because it can kind of drag on the story. But there will be some so no god-modding or Mary Sue-ing.
2. Swearing is allowed because it is in the current times. If you do not like coarse language, let me know and I'll get everyone to stop XD
3. Max of 3 characters for now. I'm only having 4 because I need to have two bad guys, and they won't be appearing very much.

5. DO NOT control other peoples characters. Only injure them if you have prior consent
6. If you are unclear on anything, please ping or pm me. Also, ping someone if your post involves their character.

IMPORTANT Your characters can be either Nisse or Quotidian. They can also be working for Circe or Piper (see my character sheet... when I get to it) as well (because after all, we need villains). If your characters are Nisse, they should either be from an actual character from a myth/ fairytale, or a mythological being thingy majig. Pretty much anything is allowed. Nisse don't have to have powers either, so princesses are allowed :3. For the Quotidian, they should be a descendant of a Nisse.

Personality: She looks very meek and innocent but she actually is very adventurous. She is a bit of a tom-boy although she isn't very bright. She does love reading though and gets lost inside her own mind. She is nave but when she realises that someone has duped her, she gets very mad.
Back story: It seems that every female in her family has a record of getting lost. She is determined not to repeat her mother's mistake of ending up in a completely different country than where she intended to be, but she can't help herself. She gets teased a lot at school, but she doesn't really mind because she has her best friend, Dari. She also sees a lot of weird things but she ignores them.
Strength: She's very strong willed and she is good at pretending to be innocent

Back story: Esben and the Witch. Esben was the youngest of 12 sons. His older brothers took their inheritance and left. Espen followed, even though his father gave him nothing because he was too young. His brothers slept at a witches house that night, and she planned to kill them. However, Esben tricked the witch so that his brothers got away, although they left him behind. Esben followed them to the King's palace and helped his brothers out on multiple occasions with his thievery and spells, but they did not thank him once. (Read the full story!) He got trapped by the witch again whilst trying to steal a treasure from her. He eventually got out with the help of the witch's daughter. He returned to his brothers, who FINALLY acknowledged how helpful he was. He now goes around searching for treasure and trying to prove himself to everyone he meets.
Strength: Is very sneaky and intelligent. He is also very brave.
Weaknesses: He is very mischievous which gets him in trouble a lot. He also has an irrational fear of rats.

Personality: Very stuck up but very intelligent. He is vain and love himself. He also wants to rule over the Nisse to use them as an army.
Back story: Piper is one of the most famous musicians in the world. There is no one who hasn't heard of his talents. He found out about the Nisse at a young age and became fascinated with the stories of them. He also inherited his fathers large corporation, making him incredibly rich. He has a lot of power but craves more.
Strength: Very smart and good at manipulating people
Weaknesses: He is selfish and will not hesitate to sell out his friends

Strength: She's a strong willed woman and her powers are great
Weaknesses: Although she likes seducing guys and then basically killing them, she does have a weakness for some men.
