Since he appears in zones (and dungeons too, I think?), I figured this would be the right place to discuss it. I apologize if it isn't. x.x

Anyway, has anyone ever bought anything from him? And if you have, what did you get? I usually ignore him, due to that "I'm going to waste my money" vibe, but then I wonder if I might've passed up something potentially awesome.

I bought something from him once, and I got gold....But it was less than the amount I paid. <_< *Shakes fist*

Usually the box contains gold (random amount), equips (random quality but it's level depends on the treasure box's level), essences, and the most disturbing ones are... Eggs... -__________-

I've bought 6 so far. None of them have had any items more valuable than 3,000. 3 of them were gold around 2000 to 2500, and 3 were equipment (I believe they were purples). I plan on buying every single one I find just because I want to see what all you can get from them, I'm hoping for an essence eventually.

So far the two I've bought have both been eggs, they don't look so fascinating colour wise yet, but I'll have to see what they hatch into I guess! x3

Essences, you say~? :3 Even if the odds on that are low, I think he just got himself a new customer~!

I have bought from him a number of times. I think I got a blue essence once. Usually I get about 2500g. I did get 4 Strong Restore Potions II once. I've never gotten an egg from him.

I do notice that sometimes the box costs more than others. Seems to vary from 2500g to 4000g. I don't know if the prizes get better if you pay more. I really should have made note of that. Well, from now on I'm going to keep track of what I get, what the box costs, and where I was when he sold me a box. And I'll post my results in this thread.

This is probably something others have figured out sooner, but I think the cost of the box depends on the zone. So, the lower level the box, the cheaper.
