So I've noticed a couple of my pets have a red * next to some of their traits. What does that mean? Do they have a secondary dominant trait or something?

(Dominant traits are specifically the trait that is visible. The Dominant Trait will always be the visible one; a secondary, different trait's genetics in the same slot will always be recessive- unlike in real life, we don't have codominant or incomplete dominant traits here in sylestia! Interesting in theory, but I think it might make newbies and breeders cry if we did).
The red * means that the pet has a lost grove restricted trait, either visible, hidden, or carried (for instance, this lup has carried lg res trait Fairy Fail, along with a regular res trait, Nomadic Yeti Horns, which does not have the *)
