DID is Dissociative Identity Disorder.
I am a person who was born because of somethin' traumatic happinin' ta the person who was born wit the body. They couldn't handle the situation an their brain fragmented an caused me ta be born.

I am jus one of many.

Its jus easier ta say alter. AKA, alternate person from the one who owns the body.

Hi, welcome to Sylestia! There are a lot of neurodivergent players around here so it shouldn't be hard to make some connections :)

As far as pointers go, I'd recommend checking out the Guide to Making Gold.

I haven't really talked about this on Sylestia before, but I'm part of a Plural system (sharing a body) as well! (I guess I could say I'm an alter, although it's not a term I usually use. We don't have a diagnosis related to our plurality and I don't think we have DID, exactly; I'm definitely not alone in here but I don't really know why or how.) My name is Katlyn, but I/we go by Insect online (I'm almost always the one on Sylestia, although my headmate/body-mate Jacob shows up occasionally as well).
It's quite nice to meet you!
(Also: I'm an adult both physically and mentally, and so is Jacob)
