i know you can only have 2 and i am new to this game, how can you have more traits for your pets that you create?

You can breed pets, buy them form other players or catch, for more traits in generator you need a better essence.

If the pet is a Tamed pet, you can use Mutators on them
Lesser mutator gives a random non-restricted trait to an empty trait slot, and it may be either a visible OR carried trait.
(If a pet has not been genetically tested you cannot see actual genetics of a pet in their genetics section beyond the Visible traits)

Greater mutator lets you apply a visible non-restricted trait of your choosing to an empty trait slot

There are also the Lovely and Lucky mutators which have a specific trait pool

If you are creating a pet via the generator, you can get a maximum of 4tp (2vis, or 1v/2carry, or 4carry), depending on which level of pet essence you use (see guide to generator essences)
Pets made via the generator cannot be altered with mutators.


The maximum tp possible without breeding is 10 (catching a Mythical rarity pet (8tp) and mutating it to have another visible trait (2tp))
