Pokmon rangers are a group of people dedicated to protecting nature and preserving peace between people and Pokmon. They go through gears of training in order to go out in the field and do their jobs. Even if its not a world ending threat, every little thing from floods to forest fires will fall under a rangers care to handle.
Times have been peaceful lately, although the director of the Pokmon rangers has noted an odd amount of activity in a reputably quiet and remote region, and wants to assemble a small team to investigate the causes of these disturbances.

Growing up on a coastal town, Kaya was frequently helping pokemon who were stranded on land or got stuck in a large puddle. As she grew up more, she felt a sense of duty to protect pokemon and keep them safe. She enrolled in the ranger program when she was very young, a mudkip from her hometown joining her on her endeavor
