From nothingness there spawned a single being, known as Creation, lord of all things. From Creation came everything else.

The Lord of all Things first created four other beings, imbued with their divinity and power.

The eldest, God of Earth and nature

The second, God of Oceans and Rivers

The third, God of Fire and light

The youngest, God of Air and Wind

These four gods held domain over the world until Creation charged them with a new responsibility: Humanity. Humanity worshipped these gods, growing alongside their divine power and prospering.

As centuries passed, however, humans began to covet the gods powers. The humans were so powerless and short lived compared to the four gods living among them. Due to this, humans began to fear the four who had so happily lived for the well-being of humanity, and what humans feared, they sought to destroy.

Though powerful, the gods were not omnipotent. During the time of the yearly festival to celebrate the gods in their divinity, a group of powerful humans sprung a trap, using artifacts and magics granted by the very gods they overthrew. The four gods were petrified, sealed in stone for centuries. Their powers siphoned from them and turned into artifacts for humanity to use as they saw fit.

Over the next few thousand years, the gods and their powers became mere folklore and mythology. As stories and knowledge was lost over time, humanity lost their ability to use the artifacts of the gods, instead most of their belongings and anything associated with them were sent to museums across the world.

Almost 5,000 years later, in modern times, the seals containing the gods in their petrified forms have worn off, and the Gods are free again, 5000 years beyond their time, disconnected with Creation and the elements they once wielded, now only having each other to try to reclaim what was once theirs

Personality: She was typically placid and calm, a nurturing goddess who thrived alongside humanity. However, she was notorious for having a temper that could level cities. Her mood was as unpredictable as the tides themselves
Appearance: Her hair manifested the appearance of a cascading waterfall, its length and shape often changing. She had lightly tanned skin, and eyes that shifted shades of blue and green depending on the body of water she was closest to. Now lacking her divinity, her appearance is much more natural, with her hair being a shade of light brown and her eyes a stagnant blue/green color. Shes rather tall for a human woman, reaching about 5 11
Bio: Lady of Lakes, Queen of the Seas, Tidecaller, Goddess of Water. Cecaelia loved the world and the vast life she could hold within her oceans. She was always more on the quiet side, except for when her temper flared. She was close with humanity, and loved their worship and their short, lovely lives. She taught humans to coexist with the sea, and how to give back what they took from her domain. Her most sacred home was a temple at the bottom of the sea that she created herself, so deep that no human would withstand the pressure, and one that humans even today have yet to uncover.
