The She-wolf stared out into her Pack. She was intent on keeping them safe and well fed of course. This area was packed with food and fresh prey to hunt. But, it was getting warmer. The rising temperatures could kill the eggs and leave wolves to pass out of heatstroke. My goal is to keep them safe. What's the best choice of action? She was the leader. The Wolf everyone looked up to. She couldn't let her pack down, not at a desperate time like this.
Arti padded around the clearing where all the wolves sat. Some of them were chowing down on some fresh meat, others were chatting and having a nice time. It was so relaxing and peaceful... moving them now would ruin it. Would they still look up to me? Arti feared one day everyone would hate her. Waking up one morning and suddenly everyone left. Being a loner was a common fear these days.
Sigh. She didn't know what to do. She would have to ask the pack.
"EVERYONE!" She howled, leaping up on top of the tallest rock she could find. (Totally not a reference to a Highrock in the Warrior's series.) She took a breather. Simply asking the Pack what they wanted to do was the best option. It gave everyone a sense of independence and gave them a voice. But would they make a smart choice? "I've come here to ask you all a very important question..." Arti called out, smiling at her Pack. Wow, every single one of them... it's like I'm still surprised I'm a leader... It's been 4 years Fili. You promised you would stop acting all shy at the 2-year mark. "This question will determine our future as a pack." Arti paused as if she wanted to let that sink in. I have to stop stalling... "I feel like my Pack should get to choose whenever they want to take action. As some of you may have noticed, Temperatures have risen. Posing a huge threat to our younglings and ones who cannot stand the heat. But you may have also noticed, despite the changing climate the Food and shelters have been plenty. Even though I am aware we can simply bring it all with us, but that'll be a struggle." Another pause. This time it felt like forever as Arti sighed. "So, I am letting you all choose. Majority rules, as always. Should we stay, or leave?"
(Basic Rundown: Arti (The Pack Leader/alpha.) Had asked everyone whether or not they wanted to migrate or stay in the area. You may leave a 1st person, 2nd person, or 3rd person reply. Just please do not Powerplay, Start fights, or control another character that does not belong to you. You may roleplay as many characters as you choose as long as they belong to you. Please Ping me in every response so I have a basic understanding of what's going on.)

Hm. A tricky situation, to be sure, but I don't want to risk going somewhere with nothing to hunt. She sighed and sat up. "May I propose something? Perhaps, we stay here where the food is plenty and make dens underground for the eggs, young, and those who can't stand the heat. As underground can be colder even during the heat of summer." She raised her head to look at Arti, curious to hear her response. There might be a flaw in my plan, or she might have a better one. In any case, I need to know what she or the rest of the pack thinks.

Arcane & Nyx
Arcane looks down toward her daughter, Nyx, with a concerned look. At first, Nyx was playing with an ant she found in the grass, but she starts paying a little bit more attention upon seeing her mother's worried expression. "What do you think, Nyx?" Arcane asks, thinking about her own opinion as well. I don't want to stay here if we're having a heat wave. Prey will start leaving and we won't have any food. Who in their right mind would choose that? When Nyx answers, it brings Arcane back to her senses. "I don't know." She says, and then her short attention span leads her to go back to tormenting the poor ant, who had almost gotten out of Nyx's reach before she started pawing at it again. We should just travel a ways north, it will be much safer than staying here a moment longer than we need to. Arcane continues her thought, watching her daughter carefully, as she is prone to getting distracted and running off.

Draco sat toward the edge of the crowd, his eyes squinting against the sun. She couldn't have possibly suggested what he thought she did, did she? The tribe had lived in the area for as long as he could remember, and leaving was unimaginable. He pushed through the crowd, his voice booming through the crowd. "It is ridiculous that you would even suggest that. This is the stupidest idea I've ever heard! The prey is plentiful, and who cares if a few younglings die?" His eyes narrowed as a few pack members growled at him. "What I mean is, we need to think about the good of the entire pack. And that means the pack stays here."

Most of her Pack members were just clueless. It seemed they had no idea what we should do.
Others had pretty stupid opinions. Thinking only of themselves and not others. Honestly, things were pretty one-sided. Everyone wanted to stay or come up with another idea on how they could still survive this upcoming heatwave. Now, really this all falls on me. Should we stay or leave? Well, I did say majority rules. So I guess I still have to go with that.
Taking a long breath, Fili called out to her pack; "She-wolves and He-wolves. I believe most of you have agreed to stay. I will keep my word with the majority rules. So we shall stay for another three months. Depending on the weather then, we shall decide again. " Many of the wolves have grown up here, so it's no surprise everyone wanted to stay. Even if that meant sacrificing a few young ones. Of course there was Draco, uptight and always yapping about things he shouldn't. She sighed. Some wolf better put that dog into check. I just want to bite his head off. Surely he realized the Young ones were the future of the pack. Maybe one day he'll get that through his thick skull.
Looking back towards the pack, she sighed. "Now, Anthia has given us a great idea." She looked proudly down at Anthia. Of course, she actually tried to come up with an idea that made everyone happy. Anthia was such a nice Wolf. "Now, even though I love the fact she thought of our safety and happiness, her tunnel idea has flaws. We creatures were meant to fly. Being in confined spaces does kill us mentally. " He paused. She won't finish that. Surely her pack would be able to put two and two together. "But, I will not let her idea go into vain. We shall create Tunnels for our young ones to stay. Instead of keeping them in the open were the heat is at, we'll create a sort of nesting den." Smiling at her pack, she nods her head to see if they all agree.

In shock, Arcane looks up at the pack leader. "Am I going to die?" Nyx asks her mother, causing a few pack members to look over in sympathy. "No." Arcane answers, not knowing whether or not she may be lying, and concerned for all of the other hatchlings and egglings who may suffer because a majority of the pack has chosen to stay in the place they know rather than move and keep the pack safe. I need to convince them that we must leave... She pulls Nyx close to her and licks her ears. "It'll be fine." She assures her, while scheming to change everyone's minds as soon as possible, before any young end up dying as a result of the pack's poor decisions.
Yatori Had made her way up beside Fili about halfway through Draco's outburst and had pause briefly to cut him a sharp glare at his comment about the younglings, a gentle warning to watch his mouth she didn't mind dragging him out of another meeting by his tail. The caves weren't a terrible idea for the eggs with Jades supervision and safety but the younglings wings or not would struggle greatly. She decided to speak up gently " If I may, With Jades guidance the Eggs should be okay in a underground area but the hatchlings do need to stretch their wings or travelling anytime in the future would be difficult for them.... and Traveling is inevitable it will only get hotter and harder....." she said glancing at Jade hoping she would have an idea on how to help

Jade and Terin had ben quiet other than Terin holding Jade back from lunging at Draco. Jade's attention was now on the suggestion being made. There were way to many flaws with anyone being underground and it could be done with the eggs as Yata Suggested however Jade know that this could harm the eggs as well. She paused a while before answering. " I don't think anything should be going underground there's no telling what harm that could put the eggs in........ however it could be possible for us to expand a den and med site over at the springs and caverns. I've done some foraging there and the caverns are structurally sound and are cooler than it is in the open there is also a fresh water spring there that keeps the air moist and cool and allows if anyone overheats the cool in the spring water. The only issue is the canopy is heavy so flying is not an option and it would also pull me slightly further from camp so and emergency would be difficult for me to assess" she paused glancing at Terin who was focused on Yata and Fili. She turned back to face Fili directly " I could train anyone interested in basic first aid that would buy time if something were to happen I could get back, and if someone was interesting in learning more ... a pup perhaps I could train them in the time at the springs " she stopped and stood flicking her tail and flattening her ears at Draco staring at him directly " And Regardless of how things are now it is clear the heat is causing us to burn more energy an amount not even all the food in these hills will sustain... and with that the heat will take hold of even the most spiteful of us" a stark reminder he was not exempt from what the heat would bring
Terin
Terin was keeping quiet as they all discussed Draco was right in the fact of eating while the food is plentiful but it would never fly at the expense of the younglings. Draco is a great teammate and guard and Terin appreciates and honors that, but he is not the most tactful talking of such around mothers and even his egg bound spouse. Even though Jade is mild tempered in her current emotional state Terin did not put her past tearing Draco apart and stitching the Old man back up again. something Terin knew was unnecessarily violent and purely she wolves being protective as they are. Otherwise this Idea of Jade going off in the woods with a youngling by herself with an egg due any day now bothered him slightly. She would not stop working for a moment even at her own expense. However that was selfish she was right in the comments she made and it would have to be done regardless of the situation or the pack would be split entirely.

Artemis walked over to where the pack was. She heard about what was going to happen and wasn't disagreeing with what Anthia and the pack leader had said. She sat down, watching what else would happen.
