Pinevale Remake Sign-ups
The roleplay has already started. If you are joining after the rp has already started I will send you a recap of what has happened so far in a pm if you would like. Or I will probably post it in the directory because that would probably be useful.
Hello~ If you clicked on this, that means that you are a very curious person, and I would LOVE for you to join this RP! After it's done being built of course ^-^
If you were in the last roleplay that I made, Pinevale, and you liked that one, then you'll probably like this one as well. If you didn't, then you probably will like this one, because I'm changing a lot of things. Firstly, all characters are pre-made, and you just pick which one you want to be. If you want to make your own character, pm me and i'll set it up. All of the characters i'm making are based off of people I know in real life, except they aren't mythical creatures lol.
Anyways, the next post will have all of the characters for the rp that everyone can pick from.
Rules:
~Please do not randomly disappear on us if you are taking a role, (roles will be explained later) it will be confusing to everyone and it might end up ruining surprises and mystery aspects
~After you post, wait at least 10 minutes before you post again to give others a chance to think, even if someone replies to your post. And DO NOT post again if no one posts after you. If no one has replied after 2-3 days, go ahead and send out a mass ping to remind everyone that the rp exists, sometimes people forget, and that's ok!
~If your character is interacting with another person's character, ping them! Unless they specifically tell you not to ping them, do it, or they might not see your post!
~If your character is not interacting with someone's character, do not ping them. Unless they specifically ask everyone to ping them with every post that anyone makes, do not ping someone who's character you are not interacting with
~Don't randomly decide to add random abilities or personality traits to your character in the middle of the rp. It will confuse everyone and if I did not authorize it, don't do it!
~Be kind to everyone. Your characters don't need to be kind to other characters, but you should not be rude to other players! We are real people, not robots. Ok maybe i'm a robot, but I still have feelings! Nevermind, I wasn't programmed that way. But everyone else was! I'm just kidding, I am not a robot. But if you fell for that, get some help.
~If three or more people's characters are interacting and one person suddenly stops posting, DO NOT move on without them! I cannot even begin to explain the pain when you are doing a rp with someone and then something comes out of the blue and you need to leave for a few minutes, and then you come back to see that everyone is having a grand old time while your character is still where they were before and everyone's characters are talking to your and then your character is just standing there silently. Do not do that to anyone! It's so confusing and sad.
~If you read the rules, tell me your favorite kind of food in the "Anything else?" section of the sign-up form
~If you want to make another outfit for your character, like if they're going on a date or to a party or something, feel free to make one. Just please make sure that it fits the character's overall "vibe." If you don't want to make one or if you don't think you're good at designing outfits, ask me and I would be happy to help you out ^-^
~Fair warning, your character may end up getting (bum bum bumm!) murdered. Sorry, but I feel like making npcs specifically for them to get killed isn't really going to work because we have to eventually solve the murder...
~If you want your character to take a role, do not tell anyone else about it. The roles are "top secret" and the roleplay will be ruined if everyone finds out who has the roles.

Storyline and Whatnot:
Scorchwood High is a school for mythical creatures that resemble humans. You may come across some hardships and villains at this school, but that's just how it goes, isn't it? New students are transported into Pinevale (a town that takes up an entire chain of islands) by boat, docked in the local ship harbor, and then transported to the school, where they will be assigned a dorm room and classes. Pinevale is a town inhabited only by supernatural beings and "pet" humans, which are only kept by the richest and most brutal families living in Pinevale, and are not permitted in the school under any circumstances. After being checked into their dorm room of the school, students are free to roam the town and do whatever they want between classes. Scorchwood high is a boarding school, but the students are able to come and go as they please, with a permit from the headmaster or the company of a prefect of course. In addition to the wonders and magic that Pinevale has to offer it's inhabitants, there are also some dark and disturbing things lurking in the shadows that could pounce out and attack at any moment. Other than the humans of course haha.
Now you must be wondering, where are the hardships and villains? After you sign up, if you would like your character to take part in some "evil" happenings, pm me after your sign-up form is accepted. DO NOT post it on here or it will ruin the surprise for everyone else and I will be very mad at you. This is for a sort of "murder mystery" aspect and to turn the rp into more of a game and be a bit more exciting.
More will be added to this when I make the rp page, so if you are reading this now, make sure you read it again before you post on the rp because you might miss some things!

I had all of the characters on here before, but it got to be too much chaos adding and/or editing characters, so I moved it all into a google slides presentation lmao.

Please keep in mind that I am not done making all of these characters so they might have some info not filled in or they might be invisible!
If you see a character that you like, and you want to make sure no one gets to it before you, shoot me a pm if there is a green text reading "Done" on the slide for that character and I will make sure not to give that character to anyone else. If there is a red "Chosen" text on the slide, please do not pm me about that character because it has been chosen already! Thank you ^-^
Some characters were made very specifically, and others have a lot of leeway and customization on how you may want the character to act. If you choose a character that is very specific and end up making them act un-accordingly to how they were designed, I will let you know. If you continue after two warnings I might end up kicking you if the character is important to the storyline. Please be mindful of this because I don't want to kick anybody!

Questions I've gotten so far:
Q: Why do the Merles and Roxanne wear crowns?
A: They're marks of their families, like emblems of sorts. Trevor isn't wearing one because he doesn't like being associated with his parents, so he doesn't wear his. Also I thought that head item matched him well so I made an excuse to have him wear that instead...
Q: How do I sign up?

How far will your character go with "touching"?: Up to kissing, light touches (like cupping the face or brushing hair out of the face, things like that) But nothing more than that or what forum rules will allow.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how mad would you be if your character died?: probably like a 3 or smth
