uncommon gear > throw it into the site sell bin for whatever chump change that'll give. They're Bad. The stats on them make me sad.

rare non-lg gear > *wiggles hand* not generally very good, typically also a 'just sitesell'
(though I keep my non-tradable/one off items like Bolt's Bracelet on random pets in my stables for the reason of "I just do one-off item hoarding")

Disciple > very placeholder, best replaced by more focused equips with higher stats of the right sort when possible
(same with the Arcanist and Ravager type equips. Those are better off on int or str mission pets really)

Slot 1 pet is the Tank, that's where enemies prioritize aim.
This team is very Survivalist, with no attacker element (fire, air), so harder to take out, but slower to do damage.

Tanks are typically water, earth, or shadow, or light (especially on board teams), and they typically run HP and Agility profs, sometimes with some offense points (depending on element)
Physical tanks (earth, water) should get Str/Agi gear (Assassin, Warden, Tidal Lord)
Magical tanks (shadow, light) should get Int/Agi gear (Illusionist, Reaver, Lightbringer)

Non-slot 1 pets tend to lean more to dex (accuracy, critical hits) than agi (evasion, defence) unless it's a rotation-type survivalist team (that is, which pet is in slot 1 gets swapped somewhat often to allow for healing outside of the enemy priority target zone)

Light pets are typically healers (I keep my light healers in slot 2 personally but many people keep them in slot 3), and generally get Int/Dex setup, but Int/Agi gear is fine too
Evoker, Pyromancer (int/dex)
Illusionist, Lightbringer, Reaver (int/agi)

A non-tank shadow would also freely combo int/dex and int/agi gear to what works for the player
A non-tank water would use phys tank gear, or alternately Int/Dex gear (Myrmidon, Storm Caller)

(fire attackers run Evoker/pyromancer, air attackers run Myrmidon/Storm Caller)

(Reaver vs Ligtbringer and Warden vs Tidal Lord are different by which of offense vs agility they prioritize. Reaver+Warden, being primarily for Shadow and Earth, have higher Agi than offense, since those elements are primarily tanks. Lightbringer and Tidal Lord have higher offense than Agility, since Light and Water have a Support-type lean (healer for light, buffer for water) and thus are likely to be not be tanking in slot-1 as much)

(tough/dull/etc just denote what level the equip is, so you can really just skip writing it entirely and list just the level and equip type info)
