I'd look down at her. "Anything else different? Like anything that had significance?" I'd say, trying to know a little more. "As in, anything relating to your life."

"Uhm, I was given this number by a reindeer named Whisper. Who is this?" he asked in a shaky voice.

She shrugged. "I feel so calm, so peaceful when I'm in the forest," she said in a soft voice.

I'd sigh, bringing her closer to me in the hug. "Well, at least it isn't a nightmare." I'd say, sighing a bit. "I have a lot of those, so i feel good that you don't have a lot of those."

His throat closed up and he tried to clear it but the attempt was in vain. "No, I'm not. My girlfriend is in the hospital and I'm terrified she is going to die. Whisper said to call close friends but I don't have any," his voice cracked and he sniffled. "My name is Jax, by the way. I'm sorry for bothering you," his voice had a hopeless tone to it as he hung his head, closing his eyes against the fresh wave of tears he felt coming.

Her laugh was harsh and bitter. "It's not like I don't have nightmares, I have them plenty. This one just shows up just as much as they do." Her eyes grew sad and she closed them, going limp in his arms. "I have them constantly. More often than not," she whispered.

I'd grip her a little bit tighter in the hug. "You don't have to talk about them if you don't want to." My voice was a little more serious.

"I'm okay. I don't remember most of them anyway. Just the fear and hurt that they bring." Her tone was soft, her voice almost inaudible.
