Alderic smiled halfheartedly. "Hopefully it will. And you are a friend to now you know. Doesn't take much for me to make friends." He said grinning again. "I guess I can fill you in on that. Jora almost drowned today. A'ine feels responsible for it." He said a little bluntly looking over at A'ine again.

A'ine shrugged a little. "I could but some of the breaks are barely longer then a weekend so it would still be hard on those ones." She said sighing a little more.

Mitch smiled. "Of course, lead the way fair lady." He said sweeping his hand towards the cliff path.

Jora sighed a little closing her eyes again. She knew he wouldn't listen to her. She just wanted him to be safe and not get hurt.
(It's you decision girly. :) I'll trust your judgment).

Alice looked over at A'ine, and then back to Alderic. "Is Jora alright now?" she asked. She was glad Alderic considered her a friend, even though they just met. Then again, Alderic did make friends with everyone it seemed.

Kanin looked over at Mitch and Ember as they left. "Wait, can't some of you fly in your monster form?" he asked, turning back to A'ine.

Ember walked towards the cliff path, stopping to wait for him at the edge of the cliff. She leaned over to look at water far below. Heights were one thing she was not scared of in the slightest. She was slightly cautious though, making sure she could keep her balance.

Orion became more confident now that he hadn't tripped and made his way to the girl's dormitory. "Tired?" he asked Jora, as he looked over at her briefly and noticed her eyes were closed.
(Are boy allowed in the dormitory? Sorry if that's a stupid question XD)

Alderic shrugged. "She's doing better then before." He said shrugging a little. "Not really my thing to say. Orion would be the one to talk to about her." He said grinning at the thought of the two. They just needed to see what all of them saw and accept it.

A'ine chuckled a little. "yeah, those two can, Actually with everyone here right now, you, Alice, and I are the only ones who couldn't fly." She said smiling slightly.

Mitch smiled walking over besides Ember. "Be careful. I wouldn't want you to fall Ember, you might get hurt." He said smiling at her his hand twitching a little. "Shall we, madam?" He asked gesturing out at the path.

(Nope, guys aren't allowed. It's not a stupid question. ^^)
Jora nodded a little against his shoulder. "Yeah... thanks for carrying me Orion, it probably wouldn't have helped me to walk on this ankle." She said feeling her swollen ankle throb in pain.

(I. Am. An. Awful. Person. I'm so sorry it took so long. I will literally cry if this doesn't get posted.)

Alice nodded, slightly suspicious of Alderic's large grin. "What are you smiling about?" she asked, since the topic they were on wasn't particularly happy. She was about to ask another question, but decided it would be best to not pry.

"Maybe somebody could fly you over," Kanin suggested. He paused, and asked, "It is polite to use a friend as a method of transportation?"

Ember nodded, following Mitch away from the cliff's edge. "Don't worry, I won't fall," she said with a smile. Now that they were alone again, she felt more shy than usual.

"It definitely would not be good," Orion agreed, and then he paused outside the girl's dormitory. "Jora? Either I break a rule, or we find someone to help you to your room. Because walking on a twisted ankle is never a good idea," he said.

(Don't worry! Honestly, it's fine.)

Alderic shrugged a little. "Just Jora and Orion, their kinda a project the rest of us have. They're so perfect for each other that they can't even see it themselves." He said chuckling as he looked around pushing his glasses up on the end of his nose his vision adapting to the dark,

A'ine shrugged. "I honestly wouldn't know if it was or not." She said looking around. "Besides, it would just be stupid to ask anyone to do that. It's better if A'eda'n and I just practiced being away from home until a holiday," She said honestly looking up at the sky a little running her hand through her hair as she yawned.

Mitch smiled looking at her before rubbing the back of his neck again. "So, Ember? That thing I wanted to talk to you about...?" He said sounding like he was asking almost. "Well, I kind of have this thing about kissing girls... Like when I kiss them I usually have taken them out before..." He started awkwardly. "I was just wondering if I could bother you for a date this weekend? There's a town a little bit away and I hear they have a nice little cafe." He said swallowing a little nervously as he glanced at her face.

Jora swallowed a little. "No. Please don't Orion... I don't want you to get in trouble." She said her arms tightening slightly in fright. "L-let's just sit here until someone comes along who can help me to my dorm." She said nervous he might not listen.

Alice almost snorted. "That's how it usually plays out," she said, rolling her eyes. "Do you think they'll clue in anytime soon?" she asked, brushing a stray leaf off her dress.

Kanin nodded. "I'm sure you'll be able to see them on a longer break," he said. "Would you like to go to your dorm?" he asked, remembering how A'ine was mentioning leaving only some time before. He looked across the fire at Alderic and Alice, the only other two still there.

Ember blushed, surprised. She began to feel a bit flustered, but then she noticed Mitch seemed rather nervous as well, "Yeah, I'd love to," she said, smiling at Mitch. She really hoped that she wouldn't mess this up.

Orion turned to a bench near the front of the dorms, setting Jora down on it carefully before sitting next to her. "Alright, but it's pretty late, so it might take a while," he warned, looking at Jora with worry.

Alderic shrugged. "Jora's shy and I don't know about Orion. They both seem a little oblivious about these kinds of things." He said glancing over at Kanin and A'ine before looking back at Alice. "you ready to head back yet?" He asked her standing picking up his bags.

A'ine glanced over at Alderic. "Looks like they're getting ready to go." She said standing up whipping off her legs slightly.

Mitch smiled looking at Ember, his eyes giving away how happy he was. "May I ask you to hold hands?" He asked he holding out his hand to her.

Jora shrugged slightly. "It's fine. If you want to just go to bed. I can wait by myself." She said looking at him.

Alice shrugged. "Sure," she replied. She was used to staying up rather late, as she often took night shifts at the castle when she was older so she wasn't particularly tired. She stood up and brushed off her dress, glancing behind them into the dark forest.

Kanin stood up as well. "Well, then I suppose we should head back too," he said, looking over at Alice.

"You certainly have a lot requests right now," Ember commented with a smile. She tentatively slipped her hand into Mitch's as they walked.

"Well, that would be rather rude of me wouldn't it? Besides, I want to stay, if you don't mind of course," Orion said, absent-mindedly tracing the arm of the bench with one hand.

(No problem!)

Alderic smiled heading towards the other two. "You two ready to go?" He asked grinning at them his glasses reflecting the moon light in the dark.

A'ine smiled back at Alderic nodding slightly. "I am." She said beginning to walk towards the cliffedge to walk back to the school. Alderic walked right next to her.

Mitch grinned sheepishly. "Well, can you really blame me for half of them? You're beautiful, Ember, any guy who wasn't stuck up prick would want to ask you out." He said smiling looking at her. "But they don't get to now, because I won and got to ask you first." He added squeezing her hand lightly.

Jora sighed shaking her head with a smile. "No, I wouldn't think it was rude. You did carry me more then half the way back." She said sitting properly, straight backed and tall. She rubbed her arms a little again feeling the chill air.

Alice nodded. She walked to the edge of the cliff to wait for Kanin. The wind picked up and she shivered slightly. She hadn't noticed the cold by the fireside. She jumped slightly as Kanin appeared behind her. "You are rarely cold," he commented with an amused smile. "You don't have to laugh about it," Alice huffed, beginning to walk along the cliff.

Kanin fell in step next to his sister. "I never laughed," he said. "By the way, have you seen Cheshire?" he asked. "Nope. She always disappears like this. Why do you ask?" Alice replied. They fell into an easy conversation as they walked a ways behind A'ine and Alderic.

Ember blushed, unable to meet Mitch's eyes. "Any second now, you'll start receiving hate mail from my many admirers," she said. She was surprised at how comfortable she was becoming around Mitch. She was beginning to be able to speak her mind, even if it was just a stupid joke. She leaned towards Mitch slightly, hoping he wouldn't notice.

"I mean, I could turn into a dragon and fly you up to your room," Orion said, only half-joking. He noticed Jora rubbing her arms, and hesitantly wrapped his arm around her shoulders, hoping she wouldn't mind.
