You carefully look into the mirror, your heart pounding in your chest. To your surprise, nothing bad happens. Your reflection is just distorted. The center of your face is enlarged and the edges are reduced. It was almost as if you were looking into the back of a curved object, like a spoon. What do you wish to do?

There was brief hesitation on Enoch's part, but he seemed confident in what he had decided. "It was the mother. These eggs are not developed enough; they were laid recently. There are scales matching their color in the remains, and the color is most uncommon. The babies would not have developed scales yet."

It was rather odd, you decided as you investigated the dead deer. There was no blood, nor any visible reason for the deer to have died. It seems to have dropped dead of its own accord.
Free options (not random, goes along with current storyline, don't worry).

The creature cocked his head to the side slightly. Then, he brought his dead down a fraction of an inch. The latter of the movements seemed almost like a nod. His trembling had almost ceased completely. What do you wish to do?
